Comfort Inn & Suites Zachary

I have been traveling since the late 1950's and have stayed in a variety of hotels both in North America and Europe. This hotel has the distinction of being the nastiest, dirtiest dump I have ever stayed in. In our first room, on the first floor the curtains would not close so anyone in parking lot could look in, the AC was leaking (which partially explained the smell) and the bathroom floor had not been properly cleaned so it was extremely slippery. Desk clerk said other staff was gone, handed up a towel and said to wipe up slippery substance (detergent from washing floor?). We asked for another room. The other room, a HANDICAP room!, had a similar floor situation but AC didn't leak and curtains closed. In the morning we discovered there was mold on ceiling, walls behind nightstands etc. We noticed that breakfast was totally wiped out more than one hour before it was to close but honestly I didn't want to eat or drink anything from there anyway. Our traveling companions had a properly cleaned floor but even more mold than we did. Oddly I cannot leave a review on their website. I will see if the State Board of Health has any more success.

Excellent stay and also amazing customer service. Location good. Came to see family and friends. Gerterra, front desk agent was very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Will visit the hotel again. Everything was lovely. Loved it and thanks again.

Building looks great. Staff was friendly. Arrived at 5:35 PM. Told no clean rooms for 30 minutes, so wouldn't begin checking in until then. There were several groups waiting, so knew it would be much longer. Got into room after 7. AC was off and we were on 3rd floor. It was 94 degrees outside. No AC in hall/open area of 3rd floor, so no telling hoe hot our room was. Plenty of hot water on Friday. Very little hot water on Saturday.

We spent 3 nights there for a long weekend. Our check in went fine & we were given a king room on the 3rd floor. It only had 1 bath towel & the phone kept flashing that it had messages. We tried to erase the messages but it wouldn't. Didn't want the light to keep flashing all night long. So we called down to the main desk to report the issues. Sandy came & took care of both issues quickly. I believe she said she was the manager of housekeeping. However in the morning & for the next 3 days, there was no coffee & no juice. One employee told me that there was no one there who knew how to make coffee. I wonder if they had any coffee in their pantry. We were with a group of friends. It seemed everyone had issues with the towels & the breakfast. My husband & I wound up going to a coffee shop in the mornings.

We go to check in and they cannot find our reservation. They find it for wrong dates. We go to our room to take showers and there is no soap or shampoo in room. We are going to breakfast in the morning there is no coffee downstairs only warm water to drink. When we are checking out the room charge is different they form signed at check in and provided no explanation as to why- stay somewhere else,

Spent 3 nights in hotel. First room had a few hand towels and we were unable to open closet. We were given a different room. Few scratchy hand towels and 1 bath towel and closet VERY HARD to open. Never got more towels for 3 nights. Were told towels were stuck in washer that would not open. Repair man unable to fix in his 8 hr. shift so he left. No coffee in hotel the entire time. Cereal for breakfast but no bowls. Boiled eggs tasted spoiled. Rest of breakfast not good.Were told 14 folks tried to sign in one night and the manager walked out.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn and Suites this past Labor Day weekend. Luke, who checked us in Friday 9/1, was nice. We put our bags down in our room and immediately left to go visit with family. Upon returning later that night as we were getting ready to go to bed , we noticed the sheets were dirty. We were giving another room, which was worse. The shower had mold and was not clean. The pull out bed mattress was filthy. And upon checking out, no one was at the front desk. We called several numbers, and we got someone on the phone, and then the phone was disconnected. Then Brittany tried to assist us but couldn't provide a printed receipt. Finally, Narissa showed up but still couldn't provide a receipt and stated it would be emailed. We stayed here 2 nights, and the stay was horrible.

Comfortable stay…I had to work while in town and the internet was very stable. The grits for breakfast were delicious. A Popeyes chicken and a pharmacy are within a blocks walk. Fridge and microwave in the room. Nice and quiet spot. Nice stay

Stayed here for work and checked out early. Was charged 2 times for the same night 3/29/2023. They could then rent the room out since I checked out so early. Try doing your expense report when they do this. Stay away.
