Room is spacious and clean except that the toilets are on second and third levels. Dinner is delicious whilst the western breakfast is also good.

This resort is definitely suitable for family with 4-5 people, there is only 1 private onsen, they do not have public one.  for those who like privacy with their vacation, this is excellent. 

Nice room with mountain view. Having a taxi allowance for 2 times. The food is delicious and the service is excellent.

It is a great Ryokan! It has its own onsen and has free cans of alcohol to drink. It also has capsules with coffee machine!

The hotel said it provides free shuttle from JR to hotel upon arrival at Yufuin with prior booking via email, but they didn’t reply email until you called them. Finally we need to walk to the hotel with our bulky luggages. During check in, we checked with the female staff in short hair whether we can book a shuttle the next day, and she said they don’t have this service. When I asked again why they said in the booking description that the hotel provided free shuttle if they actually didn’t, she kept saying ‘No’! When she explained the dinner arrangement, I told her one of our family members doesn’t eat beef. Then, she gave us a poker face and blamed us for not telling her earlier. However, the point is the hotel couldn’t be connected via email, and they didn’t specify that guests should have informed them the preferred meal before arrival. Except this female staff at reception, other service staff are polite and friendly.

Excellent experience!! The 2 storey house included living room, bedroom, 2 restrooms, balcony and private onsen! The view from onsen is incredible! Kaiseki dinner was served at the main building in a private room. The whole main meal and beverage were in high quality. Breakfast on the next day morning was good too. Staffs were helpful and polite. Free taxi round trip from JR station to the hotel. And just 8 min walk from the Kinrin Lake which is prefect for getting up early for the morning mist.

We had a fantastic visit there with good service, delicious food and great accommodation. The hot spring in the room is amazing and they provide free drinks in the fridge too. The accommodation is spacious. The beds and pillows are comfortable, one of staff even know Cantonese and all of them are so nice and friendly. It worths us to rate a 5 star rating.

The dinner and breakfast is superb! It is like having a meal in a 5-star restaurant, free drinks with plenty of options are available! Since it’s our wedding anniversary and I have made a remarks upon booking. It is surprising that the hotel provided a celebration dessert for us! Thank you! Will Come back for sure!

Huge room with amazing in-room amenities; staff super friendly and helpful. A member of staff from Hong Kong offered to drive us to JR station as taxi was not available when we checked out. Impressive service!

This is a warm and comfortable hotel. I stayed with my family in the two guest rooms of Anzu and Ajisai at Yufuin Bettei ITSUKI. We chose the package with dinner and breakfast. You can park your car at the hotel first and then go out to play. It takes only 7 minutes to walk to Kinrin Lake. There is also a MaxValue supermarket near the hotel, which is super convenient. After half a day of sightseeing in cold weather, the hotel lobby welcomes their guests with the warmth of firewood. This is one of the things I like about this hotel. The staff are very polite and the service is superb. They call before dinner reservation time to let you know dinner is ready. Dinner is arranged in a private room in the restaurant which allows sufficient privacy. Local seasonal ingredients are used in every dish, tasted fresh and delicious and served on fine pottery. Such an absolute feast for the tongue and eyes! I would like to appreciate the mindfulness of the hotel. When making hotel reservation, I told the hotel that we have a member who does not eat raw food. At that time, the hotel replied that the sashimi in the meal could be served cooked. When we check-in, hotel staff took special attention with that. The room is spacious and tidy with air purifiers and humidifiers. One of the rooms we stayed in had an indoor and an outdoor onsen and the other had a semi-outdoor hot spring. Flowers and plants are planted in the garden of the room and around the outdoor hot spring. You can feel the natural atmosphere of Yufuin when you look out from indoors or in onsen. There is another point worthy of praise. When I was seated for dinner, I asked the staff at the front desk if I could buy stamps for sending postcard. They did not have stamps for sale. To my surprise, as soon as the first course of dinner was served, hotel staff handed me a beautiful envelope with a stamp inside. They even checked the postage fee to make sure the stamp fee is enough. How efficient and thoughtful they are. This is the best onsen hotel and I would recommend it to everyone. Family raves about the stay. Overall it's impeccable. If I have the opportunity to come to Yufuin again in the future, I will definitely choose this hotel again.

可以説，這是我住過的最最好的旅館：首先，它在由布院，這樣一個寧靜、美麗、時尚的小鎮，既有由布岳雄偉的山景、又有百畝良田的風格、還有温情時尚的小店，更有金麟湖夢幻仙境，有吃的有玩的，可放空也可探索；其次，旅店本身的設施超乎想象的完善，獨棟屋，屋外有景觀，有泡腳湯池，邊上還貼心的放好了毛巾，進入屋子後，土間換鞋，土間佈置的簡單而富有禪意，然後是客廳，地上有一大塊暖腳墊，沙發茶几，周圍有空氣凈化器（兼加濕器），還有一個掛在牆上的消毒器，住起來非常安心。客廳落地窗外可以看到室外風呂，環繞在山茶花下，有户外木屐、椅子、小院子，我看到可愛的小貓在院子裏走過，左手邊是卧室，我們是三個人入住，三個地鋪非常寬敞，尤其喜歡窗，夜晚的時候映襯着樹影搖曳非常寂靜。右手邊是盥洗室連接着室內風呂，貼心的準備了6條大浴巾，方便多次泡温泉，洗護用品使用下來堪稱一流，泡完温泉皮膚絲滑頭髮也特別柔順。茶水間也是單獨一個，有膠囊咖啡機，有茶，還有免費的飲料。再則，酒店的一泊二食堪稱完美，用西餐的方式呈現傳統日式餐飲，擺盤精緻食材一流，不但是珍饈更是視覺盛宴，早餐為美式的，豐盛可口。酒店地理位置也很卓越，步行到金麟湖大約7、8分鐘，且這條步行路會帶我們體驗各種鳥鳴及溪中潺潺流水，冬日的早上溪水還有薄冰，但已有小鴨子在追逐打鬧，一派生機盎然。從JR站到酒店來回都不用付款車費，酒店會與司機結算。最特別的是晚上吃完飯，從餐廳走回房間，看到滿天星光，意外的驚喜。
