Convenient location, yet also quiet and peaceful. Love the mountain view. It’s really amazing. I wish I booked more nights there.

very happy to have booked this hotel. very well located hotel, walkable fr yufuin station. breakfast and dinner every day was very nice, some days better than others but excellent nonetheless. place is a little old but is well kept. room is also rather large and we had the mountain view which was amazing. hotel onsen water can be a little too hot, so sensitive ppl do be careful. will come again.

A bit old hotel but we really enjoyed to stay here. We had breakfast and dinner for our stay. The food are very yummy and well presented. Highly recommended to take their food during your stay.

Hotel close to JR train station. We booked with breakfast and dinner. The food is nice

The hotel was easy to find and nearby the main station. Staff was friendly and the traditional room was neat. View was particularly impressive as it overlooks the mountain.

Dinner and breakfast : all food was cold because half of the food (about 4-5 small dishes and main) was placed at my table before i went to the restaurant. The servant pushed me to eat faster as the second half (the rest 4-6 small dishes) was put on table when i just started the first half. Quite disappointing. Supposed dessert shd be served after meal, The servant even placed it when i still had 4-5 dishes not finished. Annoying. Hot spring : opening hour was acceptable but there was no view to the beautiful scene at all. Quite disappointing too. The bamboo screen was too enclosed, making me just looking the few plants there. When comparing with Naha, there’s only one type of hot spring and was too traditional. Room : it’s not large as expected. Location: not far from JR/bus station but away from main street to one and only one spot - the lake Conclusion : too expensive when considering the bad dining experience . Not very recommended

Fantastic stay at Yufuin Kotobuki Hananosho! The kaiseki meals were exceptional—fresh local ingredients, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. Our room was spotless and comfortable, with a view over the valley. Perfectly located for strolling Yufuin’s charming streets and hitting the hot springs. Highly recommend for anyone wanting great food and easy access to sights!

Rustic but good vibes from the dated fixtures. Generally clean and service staff were superb. Wonderful views of Yufu.

We enjoy the dinner n breakfast, it will be great if the tatami mattress is done while we check in

The hotel is a bit old. Facilities are needed to be upgraded. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is great, just a 3-minute-long walk to the train station.

Great location. Just 5-8mins from the train station. Room is spacious, enjoyed the outdoor onsen too.

Located within 10 mins walking distance from the train station. Convenience store and Aeon nearby. 10 mins walking distance to the shopping street. Nice place to stay
