North Block Hotel

This was our first time at North Block, and we definitely plan to return. The vibe is just perfect for an upscale yet relaxed weekend. The staff is phenomenal— always on point but never stuffy or snobby. Special shout out to Davis, who was always friendly and helpful and ready to pour you a complementary nightcap from their bourbon selection. The room was quite nice with extremely comfortable bed, espresso maker, dual vanity sink, separate shower and soaking tub, as well as a balcony (although our balcony faced the parking lot which was kind of a letdown). They provide housekeeping twice a day, which is always appreciated. We loved the courtyard setting, very unique layout of this hotel. The pool is very nice as well, especially after a warm summer day of wine tasting, It felt particularly good. The gym was kind of a letdown, on the plus side they did have peloton bikes, but the space is tiny (size of a small bedroom ) and was sweltering hot. Other amenities include bikes, complementary nightcap, and coffee in the morning with Continental breakfast/pastries. Lastly, definitely make time for a meal at the Onsite restaurant. It was always almost empty during our trip, however, the food and service were phenomenal (see photos)

Beautifully kept premises. I loved everything about staying at NorthBlock. Our room had a shower and huge tub, which offered bath salt for a soak after long days of winery visits. Drinking our morning coffee while sitting on the balcony was lovely. The sound of the outdoor water fountain creates a calm serene ambiance. The staff was very friendly. They offered us a glass of wine upon checking-in and bottles of water at check-out. The drinks/food offered at The Restaurant was delicious. We will be back!!!

My husband and I frequently go to Yountville and this was our first stay here. I booked a reservation for a night stay at North Block Hotel for my husband's 33rd birthday. Honestly, we received exemplary service before even checking in. Kendall was quick and helpful with questions I had. North block is close to all our fave places- RH, jessup cellars & stewart cellars. We live in the Bay Area and drove up a little early for lunch. I called to inquire about parking and was told by Christian at the front desk that our room would be ready by 1230. It worked out perfectly as I made lunch reservations at RH for 1145. After our lunch we headed over and were greeted by Christian with a complimentary wine. The room was comfortable and luxurious. My fave part of the room was the soaking tub! The soaps and bath salts smelled phenomenal. Will recommend this place to all our friends for staycations.

North Block Hotel was absolutely adorable . Carter was most welcoming when we arrived and made us feel very comfortable right from the beginning.We were offered a lovely glass of wine on arrival and their home baked cookies at the reception were to die for !The pool area was lovely too, not too big or too busy.No negatives whatsoever,would definitely return.

We typically stay at another hotel in Yountville but this was a great find! They had mimosas and breakfast with coffee service in the morning, hot homemade cookies and wine in the afternoon and wiskeys to taste in the evenings! So much fun!

WOW ! lets just start with the staff....AMAZING, EVERYONE from manager (Carter Dodds), his assistant David, the bellman all the way to to our nightly turndown Lupia- & everyone in between just an amazing QUALITY group of people ..........oh yeah, awesome place/rooms/pool/spa/etc..... BUT the people just make it the BEST !

We had a fabulous stay at North Block. Very quiet, well appointed and comfortable rooms, great amenities, but most importantly amazing staff. Very attentive and accommodating for our entire trip. Would highly recommend this hotel, best one in Yountville.

Travelled to Yountville for a few days with kids as part of a USA road trip. Hotel is not for families. Cons: We were not told when booking direct months in advance and pre paying our stay that the pool was adult only. Room had no USB points or even a power point near a table or bedside to be able to charge a phone. No mini bar. Limited water…. How hard is it to provide water ! Noise from restaurant at night. Noise from upstairs walking around. Thin ceilings ! No valet. No help with luggage. Pros: Great size bathroom. Comfortable beds. Aesthetic of property is great.
