I can't think of any motel I've stayed in during the last dozen times as pleasant as this one. I can't think of anything displeasing about it. Cute & clean breakfast area with tables or comfy chairs; shower was better than my own home; upgrades were obvious in bathroom/shower/tub area; plenty of counter space there as well as in the bed area to lay out all your stuff; parking right outside our room vs a remote area as we often have; friendly owner/co-owner. And the price was phenomenal !!!!! This place will remain in our forever stay list when traveling from Wisconsin to Colorado!

Friendly staff, comfortable bed, convenient to the Highway. This was just a way stop on a longer trip but it was a very nice place for the first night of my husbands and my 20th anniversary trip. Has several restaurants next door and also close to Walmart and convenience stores.

For $112/night (included minimal $10 charge for a dog), this place was fine. PROS: The room was clean, beds and pillows were comfortable. Good selection of channels on the TV, and breakfast in the morning was nice, albeit minimal. There is a good-sized field off to the side of the building which was perfect to exercise the dog. Staff was really friendly. CONS: The exterior of the hotel looks pretty ragged, and we were worried what we'd encounter in the room based on the disrepair and grubbiness outside. Broken siding, dirty windows and touch points on doors/railings, torn and worn carpets in the enclosed hallway... I mean, I appreciated the clean and comfortable room, but the exterior didn't match. Overall a convenient stop for an overnight, but no frills.

Met expectations for an older budget motel. Beds were clean and comfy. Plenty of nice pillows. Direct TV was a plus! Tall mini fridge and microwave. Light continental breakfast. I chose the bagel and cream cheese and used the nice toaster. Freshly made OJ in a pitcher was appreciated . Outside entrance to rooms. We stayed on top floor, where walkway was enclosed to protect against the elements. Miami75

Excellent, CLEAN rooms, comfortable bed, soft pillows, friendly staff. Would differently stay again. A little outdated, but older furniture didn’t bother our stay. Clean and comfortable out ways the furniture.

Passing thru on a church mission trip and this place was perfect! Right off the highway, right next to a great restaurant "The Kitchen" and pretty close to a WalMart if you forget something like I did! Comfy bed, nice shower, good continental breakfast!!

The staff were very friendly & helpful. The room was very clean & tidy. There was even a phone book! Haven't seen a phone book in quite a while. The wifi worked great. Didn't have to sign on every time I returned to the room (unlike some more expensive name brand hotels)!! Nice breakfast, muffins, bagels, coffee. The bedside lamps had plug ins for phone charging. The entire building is somewhat worn-wooking. Maybe a coat of paint on the doors would spruce things up. But overall I liked staying there. Liked not having to pay for amenities I don't use (pool, gym, office). Would stay here again if I'm ever in York NE.

We stayed at the Yorkshire Motel on January 14. The man at the desk was helpful, the room was clean, and the price was reasonable. It's a good option during Covid-time, too, as it has exterior corridors. The motel is easy to find off of I-80.
