Best Western Plus York Hotel Conference Center

I usually expect BW Plus to be better than just BW. This place was not the case. The lobby was very nice. And staff very friendly. As you made your way to the room, it got very dark and dingy. Stained carpets and very hot hallways. Unfortunately, the room was the same. My looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. I would skip staying here.

TERRIBLE beds, but the staff is great :). Still, would give it a miss if there's anything else available in York. My boyfriend and I stayed here and if one person got out of bed in the middle of the night, it creaked. That's an understatement. It jerks the other person awake with an aggressively loud metal slamming noise. And I sleep deeply, usualy. Some sort of old metal bed frame (like feels like the 1800s old).

The property is being remodeled and our room was brand new! New carpet, paint and fixtures!! The bed, linens and pillows were so comfy and highly recommend!! Great hot breakfast and connected to Applebee’s where we had excellent diner. Right off I80 and friendly staff. Highly recommend!

We had the over 15 rooms booked for a wedding and were told we would have a shuttle service provided for the guests. The shuttle was a minivan that was supposed to run from 3pm-130am. The shuttle didn’t start until 4:00, the wedding started at 4:00!! The shuttle refused to pick anyone up after midnight to give them a ride back to the hotel when we were told they would run until 1:30am. The hotel is under renovation and the noise and paint smells were horrible! The noise did stop at 6pm but the paint smell was terrible! The restaurant refused to let some guests in claiming they were over capacity but actually it was because they didn’t have enough staff. One of them was the BRIDE!! Not happy! Several rooms didn’t have any hot water or other things that didn’t work. The pillows were terrible! Very small and flat. Housekeeping was standing outside our door from 1030-1100 waiting for us to leave, and hounding us every time we walked out of the room. Check out time was 1100, we were out of our room at 11:55. Do not use this hotel for any wedding or group travel!! I will never stay there again or recommend this place to anyone!

Most of the rooms are remodeled but not well enough for the price. We stayed in a "remodeled" room with a dirty and dinged up bathroom ceiling. We also reserved a king room 5 weeks in advance and got bumped to 2 queens with no compensation. Not impressed.

Under construction. Room was recently updated and very nice. The rest of the hotel needs some serious cleaning, but after the construction is completed it may be a lot better. The Applebee's inside the hotel is convenient for lunch and dinner.

I gave it a 4 but really a 4-. Easy check in and parking was OK. One 120v outlet by the bed, we need 2 for our CPAPs. I am glad each of us carry a long 3 outlet extension cord just for this reason. The lamp by the bed did not have a 120v outlet. Only 2 face towels, 3 hand towels, and 3 bath towels. I had to ask for a third face towel since there were 3 of us. Shouldn't have had to ask since the reservation was made a week earlier. The refrigerator was larger than most but no freeze compartment. Clean room. Good shower. Good lighting Apple Bee's was in the building.

We had to find somewhere to stay since our campground was inundated with a huge storm! We happen upon this hotel, and it was perfect. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the pool was warm and refreshing, and the free breakfast was amazing! for free breakfast was the best we’ve ever had! Thanks for the great day.
