I booked a 2-night stay at Mia Motel four months ago via ***********, and my reservation was confirmed with no issues. However, on the day of check-in at 2:30 PM, I received a message through *********** stating that they had made a mistake with the pricing and would now require an additional $70 per night for the booking to proceed. This was absolutely unacceptable. Not only was this an incredibly last-minute change, but it caused a great deal of stress for my family of four, forcing us to scramble for alternative accommodation at the eleventh hour. We had no choice but to find a new place to stay, which is a huge inconvenience and disruption to our trip. What frustrates me the most is that Mia Motel did not honor their original booking and instead tried to pass the blame onto their pricing error. A reputable business should take responsibility for its mistakes and not try to make guests pay the price for their errors. I strongly advise against booking at Mia Motel as there's a high risk they might pull the same stunt on you, leaving you stranded and out of pocket. Extremely poor customer service, and they clearly don’t value their customers.
