Aviatrans Hotel

Замечательный отель в самом центре города!! Просто суперр расположение! Рядом очень много магазинов, ресторанов и основных достопримечательностей. Номера классные!! Большие, чистые и очень уютные, не смотря на то сто самый центр, не шумно!! Рекомендую!)

Very conveniently located hotel with large / spacious rooms. However, I would not bother going there again as there are plenty better hotels just a hop and skip away. Dont be misled by the online photos, the hotel which gives it the old, rustic appearance. It is in the heart of the city and has anything and everything around it. The hotel is clean, with minimal amenities. No gym, no pool, very basic facilities. A very laid back hotel with almost no initiative or assistance. The hotel restaurant is only open for breakfast, which is not elaborate, but nice / decent. Tried contacting them for dine-in during normal hours for room service, but they were unavailable. Only 1 of the 2 rooms we booked had a very small 1 Ton a/c which was insufficient to cool the room. I assume that this would not be required during winter, but this was insufficient to cool the room down for a peaceful night sleep. The toilet flush kept on breaking down and drinking water was only provided on the first day. When requested, we were informed that we would be charged extra for water as their policy was to only provide water on the first day. Imagine 4 x 500ml water bottles provided (only) for 4 persons for 4 days. Very poor customer service and support when asked for information and assistance.

Location of the hotel is great, just 5 mins from Republic Square. Our room was huge, more like a suite than a room, which we weren't expecting. We had a separate sitting room area, room and then bathroom. The decor is a little dated, but everything is well kept and very clean. The extra space is lovely when coming back from a day walking around the city. The breakfast is excellent! Huge choice and variety, good food and the waiters are extremely friendly! Good coffee too - which is hard to find in Yerevan! The beds were very comfy and the AC was in the bedroom section and worked well. You can get a lot cheaper hotels in YErevan, but they won't have the location and the space. If I was to go back to Yerevan, I'd stay in Aviatrans again. The wifi was a bit patchy, but we still had good enough connection
