I’m only giving this resort 2 stars because most of the hotel staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. This holiday is being advertised as 4star and it is 3 star at best. The lack of hygiene, poor food quality, sewage smell due to a sewage pipe running along the beach, stray feral cats some of which are clearly unwell running around the restaurant area and dirty rooms, toilets and pool area make this the ideal storm for getting ill on holiday. We got to know 4 families during our 10 days at the Batihan and everyone had at between 1-4 people who got sick. My husband was ill with diarrhoea on day 2, my son with sickness and diarrhoea of day 7 and I managed to make it home today with stomach pain and now have it too. The floor in the room had other peoples hairs all over it on arrival, no hand soap in the dispenser and smelt horrendous. My son’s bed camping style was so creaky he had to sleep on a mattress on the floor. The toilet was stained yellow from other peoples urine. Housekeeping waved a mop around the floor and regularly neglected to provide toilet rolls so we had to go to the shops to buy a bumper pack. On our first day someone has been sick across the corridor floor 2 doors down and it was still there an hour later when we came back to the room. The food was like warm, over cooked and left out for at least an hour before the restaurant opened. When it did open there were way too many people tripping over each other to get to the food as there was barely any room. Staff wear rubber gloves which I’m sure protects them but isn’t hygienic for customers where they’re less likely to wash their hands as often. There was a housekeeper looking after the pool area who would wear gloves, sort out the bins and then put his finger into your cup before saying “finished” well we obviously have now you’ve put your fingers in it! Customers are permitted to put their feet up on the chairs in the lobby with shoes on, again adding to hygiene problems. The Spa staff asked for me to pay for my massage up front when booking two days before the appointment. When I went to say I wasn’t happy doing this in case I got sick as my son was unwell the manager and receptionist were incredibly rude and told me to cancel, I didn’t book in again. The worst holiday we have ever been on! Avoid! The only good thing was the animation team who were so friendly and accommodating. Coco and Ruym in particular are lovely people.

After reading some reviews I was actually in 2 minds weather to change hotels but on arrival I was pleasantly surprised , the hotel was clean and tidy, our room was ready on arrival on the 7th floor it was nice and airy a nice view of the pool and sea All the staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough for you I cannot praise them all from our cleaner to the bar staff to the restaurant We loved the sunset bar and restaurant too Would definitely come back Thanks for a lovely holiday

Rooms very tired, not enough plug sockets, bathroom very small ( standard double) .corridors very noisy, doors slamming, lifts very small only fits 3 people in, got see view room only plus side of the room, great view. Pool and outside area excellent and great facilities, just a couple of shops outside front of hotel and a great little bazar just up the road, other than that had to get transport into kusadasi 10 mins drive away, meals excellent and staff great, first time to kusadasi lovely place but prefer marmaris lots to do there.

Hotel facilities good for children, large trampolining area which is excellent, table tennis, entertainment in the evening is good. Unfortunately my 9 year old threw up badly on day 3 and had diarrhea for 3 days. It was heart breaking as he had been so looking for the holiday and also he felt awful, nauseous, because anxious about eating after he recovered. After a few days I because unwell, v v achy, cant eat and food , every time I see the food I feel nauseous. Luckily I haven't thrown up but I've not eaten for 2 days as i feel v unwell. We travel a lot to all inclusive ( about 2 a year), and its never happened to date. Upon speaking to some of the locals they advised to be v v careful and advised many of the hotels including ours had numerous people going to hospital. They advised thd hotel next door had 150 people over the last 2 to e days. They advised that there is a sewage going into the sea about 2km from our hotel and that the government is well aware of it because a few months ago they were testing the water etc and its not acceptable or suitable. Unfortunately, sadly the tourists will be the last to know about such things but it makes sense, because my son threw up.the day after we went into sea. I hate to complain as I know these holidays are overall v good value when you factor everything into it , but honestly if there is a sewage running into the sea its s serious health hazard that the government needs to deal with. Due to being unwell it has ruined the holiday experience. Some tips for anyone: there is a shop directly outside the hotel, he sells trips, eg quad bikes , horse riding, jeep safari, he was amazing and half the price of the love holidays rep or the travel company further down the beach. Its the same trip, same location, same quads, same people working, so the higher prices are simply them making a big profit out of you. They obviously need to make money out of us during the holiday season, I get that , but it was so nice to see and pay a genuine agent who wasn't over charging .

Lovely hotel, very good entertainment , water gym ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, good food definitely will go back, very friendly staff ⭐️
