I would like to share our very disappointing experience during our recent stay at the "Russelior" hotel in Hammamet on 14/09/2024 as part of a business trip. We were accommodated in a triple room with my two colleagues. Upon our arrival, we discovered mites above our beds. I felt bites on my skin and noticed a jumping insect, which was a real shock. I even had to catch two more on the bed to illustrate the absurdity of the situation, and I filmed a short clip to document this incident. In response, the reception offered to simply change the sheets and use an insect spray, claiming that no other room was available. Of course, we refused to return to this unacceptable room. After insisting, we were assigned a new room, but what a disappointment! This one was also dirty, with trash on the floor and other inconveniences, such as a gecko. Moreover, the attitude of the staff was inappropriate and unprofessional, implying that they did not care about our situation. This absolutely does not meet the standards we expected from a 5-star hotel, not even a 2-star one. We sincerely hope that measures will be taken to prevent other guests from experiencing a similar situation.
