Flora Park Hotel was in my opinion absolutely fantastic. If I had read some of the these Reviews before I travelled I might not have gone there so I'm glad I didn't! We couldn't fault it at all. From the moment we arrived the staff at reception were extremely helpful and friendly. They even upgraded our accommodation to a Suite which was lovely. I had trouble charging my mobile phone and mentioned it to the young man at reception and he actually loaned me his own personal charger to use overnight. The staff in the restaurant were wonderful and full of fun, especially 'The Pastry Chef - Loftie', who always made us smile and made the most tasty Pancakes too....as well as all the other goodies available. The pool Lifeguard Shalou was great too. He works so hard to make sure you're comfortable and has the loveliest smile and always stopped for a chat. He too charged my phone and loaned me his own personal charger. As far as we're concerned; regarding the 'Touts' etc., outside the Hotel. It's a 'low income' country so what's the problem with them 'selling you their wares'? Nothing is too expensive in Tunisia once you get used to the currency. We are holidaying there again next May....(if I can wait that long) and I have no hesitation in recommending this lovely, quite Hotel to all our friends and family. Thank you everyone at Flora Park for making our holiday such a memorable one. It was also very nice to see how much the staff cared for the cats, especially the pregnant little one. Me and my friend recently stayed here and it was one of the worst hotels i’ve stayed in. Although the rooms are clean, the maintenance and the quality of the bed/mattress are poor. We were only provided with 1 duvet although we had 2 beds and when I requested an extra, they kept giving us bed sheets rather than the duvet itself. The language barrier was very hard as not many people speak english. Due to this, I had to sleep with just the bedsheets cover and no duvet for 1 night before getting it sorted. The hotel resturant doesn’t have many options and we got served raw chicken. We had half-board booked however compared to other hotels and resorts, this one had very bad options. The excursion worker within the hotel was very rude and pressured us into booking. Prior to paying, we told him we were no longer interested and he hassled us into paying him as it was “already booked”. There is also a lot of insects within the hotel and my body was covered in bumps/spots, so defo bring insect repellent spray when visiting. I won’t be coming back to this hotel again.

My partner and I stayed here for 7 nights. After a busy few months at work, we wanted a relaxing holiday and that is exactly what we got at Flora Park. The hotel was quiet, unlike other hotels nearby, and the pool was perfect for relaxing by. We really enjoyed aqua aerobics each day! The beach was also great and not too far at all. The hotel was clean and staff couldn't go anymore out of their way to make you feel welcome. The food was delicious and there was always so much choice. Our room was a generous size with lots of storage space and the fridge was handy for keeping water cool. Beds were also comfy.
