Excellent hotel for families due to its services. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

We were upgraded to a room with partial river view so it was nice. Our room is modern, spacious and clean. We did not know beforehand that this is not a smoke free hotel 😓 so we had to close the balcony doors in order to avoid it. The breakfast has plenty of choices and I especially enjoyed their Guilin 米粉, I had 2 bowls of it. ☺️

A very nice, calm, easy to access place. It's a nice downtown hotel for families even with kids... The halal restaurant options are available...Highly recommended for couples and families with kids...🥰🥰🥰🥰

The hotel is clean and modern. Staff are helpful. But it may not be suitable for travel tour groups and friends' accommodation. Why? One has to wear or change clothes outside the bath area, which has no fully enclosed room. Even the bath area and toilet are just separated by the same sliding door without any lock. In my opinion, it's only suitable for couples, close relatives of the same sex in the same hotel room.

This time on my trip, I chose to stay at this hotel. The stay experience far exceeded my expectations. It was simply a pleasant journey for both body and mind. The hotel is right by the Lijiang River. Standing on the balcony, you can enjoy the scenery of the Lijiang River. The architectural style of the hotel is unique. The decoration in the room is elegant, making people feel a warm and peaceful atmosphere. The service staff of the hotel are extremely warm and friendly. From check-in to check-out, every link makes me feel at home. In particular, the reception staff at the front desk are not only considerate in service but also very patiently answered all my questions. The hotel's facilities are very complete, with facilities such as a gym, swimming pool, and SPA, allowing me to maintain health and vitality even during my trip. I also participated in some special experience activities. For example, the SPA project reserved at the hotel made me completely relax. In general, this stay experience in Yangshuo, Guilin is extremely wonderful!

Booking and Check-In I booked my stay at the Shixi Landscape Hotel in Yangshuo, Guilin, through Trip.com. The check-in process was very smooth and didn’t take long at all. One pleasant surprise was the option to upgrade our room for free, which we accepted. This upgraded room came with a lovely balcony. Although the staff couldn’t speak English, they were very friendly and helpful. Using a translation app made communication easy. Room Details We stayed in a standard double room with an upgrade to a balcony room. The room also featured a bathtub, which was a nice touch. Upon entering, the room was fairly clean, though there were some water stains on the floor and the carpet had a few dirty spots. The amenities were average, including a selection of soft drinks in the minibar and some snacks on the table. Despite these minor cleanliness issues, the bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. Facilities and Services The hotel had a restaurant where we received a complimentary breakfast upgrade. Unfortunately, the breakfast did not meet our expectations. While the Chinese food selection seemed okay, the international options were quite disappointing. The sausages were undercooked, the bacon was not good, and the cereal options looked and tasted stale. The only decent international option was toast with butter. It’s a relief we didn’t pay extra for it. Although I noticed the hotel had a spa, gym, and pool, I didn’t get a chance to use them. The pool looked nice but was small and shallow, not suitable for a serious swim. There was no room service available as far as I knew. Location and Accessibility The hotel’s location was fantastic, situated right next to the Li River and only a short 5-minute walk to the main shops and streets in the town. It was very easy to find and access, making it a convenient base for exploring Yangshuo. Customer Service The overall customer service was great. The staff were very friendly and polite, and we encountered no issues during our stay. Overall Experience The best part of our stay was the hotel’s prime location, which made it easy to visit tourist attractions. The hotel staff were also very helpful in arranging scooter rentals for a very reasonable price of ¥30 per day, which allowed us to explore the beautiful scenery around Yangshuo. However, there is room for improvement. The breakfast selection, particularly the international options, needs significant enhancement. Additionally, a thorough deep cleaning of the carpets would greatly improve the room’s cleanliness. In conclusion, while I would recommend the Shixi Landscape Hotel for its location and overall good service, it is on the pricier side for Yangshuo. Given the cost, I expected a bit more in terms of breakfast quality and room cleanliness. Nonetheless, it is a decent option for those looking to stay near the Li River and the town’s main attractions.

Nice hotel in a very convenient location. 20min walk to west street and 30min scooter ride to moon hill

Excellenr stay, great breakfast and amazing service! They helped us book tours for sightseeing, scooters to rent! Great service for english speaking travelers

A little bit away from the West Street but much quite. Rooftop River view was great. Very helpful staff, we forgot something in the refrigerator they managed to send by courier. Free afternoon tea served everyday. Local noodle soup in breakfast tasted good.

I highly recommend this hotel if you visit Yangshuo. The location is great. It's walking distance to both West street and the theater to "Liusanjie" performance. The hotel room is very spacious and clean with beautiful view. The staffs are very polite and helpful. One recommendation I have is not mopping the floor at the dinning/restaurant during breakfast time. It makes the floor wet and slippery and that's a hazard.

Great location with sweeping views of the Li River. Roof top sky garden gave even better view of the town and the surrounding mountains and landscape. Apartment was beautifully and tastefully decorated with a balcony to hang your laundry if needed. Provided was also free access to laundry machine and dryer for each floor. It’s not right in the centre of Yangshuo but that’s what you need if you want a quiet holiday in a convenient location without all the noise and through traffic. Highly recommend.
