Beware before booking. You have to walk up about two-storey high staircase and about 50 meter route before arriving at the hotel counter. It may not be suitable for old people and who have knee/stair climbing problem. However, after the counter, there is lift to the rooms and the roof top cafe which you can have a good view of YangShou beautiful landscape. It is located infront of the West Street main entrance and local bus stops. Local buses are not so frequent here, but tourists can easily rent an electricity motor bike, price range from RMB20-30 per day to go around the tourist attractions.

Great location, close by to most attractions and shops n restaurants..just across the street for the night market area. Bit tricky to find the entrance but people around the area knows the hotel to help you out. The design is very artistic! Helpful front desk staff

The room we stayed in was great, very stylish, and the location was very close to the town. There were two small issues with the room.
The bathroom compartment had translucent walls which let light through, so when somebody went to the toilet in the middle of the night, the automatic light came on and illuminated the whole room.
The toilet in the pictures is a Japanese autotoilet, but in reality it's just a manual toilet with no special features.

The hotel itself was beautiful! I found it a little challenging to find the location, but once I did, I came to appreciate that it was hidden away from the business and noise of West Street, while still being conveniently close. You have to wander through some alleyways, which I was suspicious of as a solo female traveler, but I quickly grew to like it because it is quieter and tucked away. Unfortunately, I did find that the room wasn't totally clean. There was hair, dirt, and dust on the floor that was not my own as well as a false eyelash stuck to the bed frame. I was grateful that it was a non-smoking room and aside from the cleanliness aspect, I greatly enjoyed my stay. The views from the rooms and the roof we're awesome!

Split duplex room near roof. Upper and lower levels separated by a narrow spiral staircase. The The upper floor contains a king bed, air conditioning unit and large balcony.
Balcony opens out to expansive view of Yangshuo town, Xijie and karst topography. Lower floor has a clothes cabinet, tea set and kettle. The bathroom is also on lower section.
Bathroom is equipped with a non slip floor in the shower cubicle that has a partial glass partition. A very secluded unit which sits above the fifth floor restaurant. Perhaps a little inconvenient that toilet/bathroom are separated from bedroom, but pretty good value considering the low tariff (only 120 RMB per night).

Location is good. May need a better signboard to show where the hotel is as it is located at the back alley. Lots of stairs to get to the hotel which is the downside

The location is perfect and the interior very stylish and unique.
The room was bigger than expected and quite clean.
The staff were lovely, but it would have been useful to receive instructions for how to find the hotel before we arrived. You have to turn off the main road into an alley, up some stairs and then turn left up another alley and more steps, it was late and dark when we arrived so took us a while to find the entrance.
