Best hotel we had during our trip in China. Hotel looks great, rooms are comfortable, staff is very helpful.

Pros: Room is comfortable, hotel surrounding is very nice & peaceful, love the breakfast & lunch in the restaurant. Cons: Check in & check out process is chaotic, staff have very limited English. Location is far from everywhere & the add on activities in the hotel are quite pricey

Beautiful setting. Spacious room & very comfortable beddings. Excellent quality & varieties buffet breakfast. Boat ride from Hotel was so beautiful & tranquil. Only weak point: noise at breakfast zone, as well as noise from corridor outside our room.

Hotel is definitely in the top 3 list. Set in a scenic location with nature, trip for the soul! Service is great as well, and staff are quite accessible and promptly responded to our requests. Able to drive you to your room building and help with the luggage all the way to the room. Booking includes the bamboo raft (1 hour) and other benefits (welcome drinks, hot towel, tea set in room eg). Will definitely be back!

Its a nice hotels to rest & relax

Probably the best hotel in YangShuo. Perfect for families. Rooms are amazing and the F&B was top notch. Would stay again if I visit Yangshuo again !!

The resort is located 20-30 minutes from Yangzhou town centre, but it’s beautifully landscaped and designed with rolls of mountains as backdrop. Service is absolutely superb with free traditional costumes available for photo shooting throughout the stay and a 24 hour personal assistant on call. Breakfast serves a wide variety covering local and western food. Don’t miss the freshly squeezed fruit juice from the juice bar. The bath tub in the suite is also fantastic and the hotel offers very nice bath oil for rejuvenating after day trip. Typical luxurious Banyan Tree style!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and I couldn't be more thrilled with my experience. The environment is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by stunning landscapes that make you feel like you're in a serene oasis. The lush gardens and scenic views create a perfect backdrop for relaxation. One of the standout features of my stay was the butler WeChat service, Chad, in particular, was wonderful! He was incredibly responsive and quick to assist with any request I had. Whether it was a simple question or a special need, Chad handled everything with a friendly demeanor and efficiency that truly enhanced my stay. Overall, I highly recommend for anyone looking for a delightful getaway. The combination of a beautiful setting and exceptional staff makes it a perfect choice for relaxation and enjoyment. I can't wait to return!

Travelled from Hong Kong via HSR with family. “DiDi”-ed from our urban Guilin hotel directly to Yangshuo Banyan tree with a comfortable 100 ish RMB ride, for the second part of our Guilin-Yangshuo journey. Great deal / value here ~2.5k hkd per night only. As someone who loves animals — the hotel pets were hard to say no to for me. Enjoyed feeding alpaca, viewing the peacocks, and playing with the ducks sooooo much. Eventually this is the main reason for me to pick this hotel over the other ones of similar price range 😁🦚🦚 Food I think was excellent. Freshly made Guilin Noodles with authentic crispy pork at the breakfast buffet was the highlight. Bai Yun restaurant’s local beer fish was memorable and special. Else all standard five stars — great location in the middle of the sensational yangshuo scenery. My favorite spot was where we could view the “Lucky Cat” shaped mountain from the river side of the resort 😺 —- best Feng Shui here! Good cultural taste 😁😁 Hope I’ll revisit here!

It is a good hotel with the brand name of ‘Banyan Tree’. The staffs are friendly and service-minded. However, the foods were a bit below international standard. I ordered steak which was offered by Banyan with probably a promotional rate but the meat was tough and not at all juicy even though it was medium cooked. Server’s attitude was good and atmosphere was fair though.

Amazing experience at Banyantree Yangshuo. Everyting was perfect, location between mountains seems like heaven. Great attention of staff on any request we had. Would repeat always.

We had an amazing stay. We loved how the hotel was located in a very quiet corner of a small village, and there was nothing but farmland outside. The hotel offered free bike rental so you can enjoy a “back to nature” and “back to childhood” ride near the river side. Our assistant Emily at the hotel was superb and took care of everything for us, from dinner and raft bookings to hotel recreational classes and directions to various places. She made our stay so relaxing. Final thing to mention was the food, the Western restaurant was not up to par with the desserts very dry and tasting it was from a chain bakery store, but BaiYun restaurant was delicious with good local food.

Everything was great except I feel sorry for the two alpacas being kept in capacity all day long with no roaming domain. I hope they can introduce some form of daily exercise like morning walk around the hotel grounds. I think the guests will love seeing them just like the peacocks, ducks and fish.
