Yackandandah Central

To start, this establishment’s name is Yackandanda Motor Inn! The motel is in the centre of town but hidden behind the historic street facade. The parking spaces are generous with little chance of car door chips. The room was quite spacious with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was the best appointed of any motel that I’ve stayed in. It was spacious with ample hanging room for towels and the shower was excellent and drained well without splashing the floor beyond the shower alcove. There are two pubs a short walk away for dinner.

I have stayed here before and will again. Great service, and very calm and relaxing place to stay. Rooms are impeccably clean and have everything one needs. Parking in front of your room and a supermarket just across the road. The town in the perfect base for exploring the region.

First class location right slap bang in centre of town (main street) and with easy dedicated parking. Could't have been more convenient for everything - shops, eateries, etc. Helpful pleasant staff. Room well appointed, adequately spaceous for two persons with luggage. Quiet and comfortable. Would visit any time.

We've stayed here several times before and it always maintains a very high standard. The rooms are spotless, tastefully furnished and the bed very comfortable. The choice of pillows is an excellent touch. The motel is in a quiet central location and is close to shops and Pubs. Management are warm and friendly immediately making you feel welcome.

Fantastic location and great service. They bend over backwards to help and nothing is a problem. Excellent local knowledge. Centrally located, good parking and very well looked after. The rooms are very comfortable, quiet and very clean. It has to be one of the better stay in the region. Great base to explore the region for a few nights or just a perfect place to get a good night sleep when traveling.

Very accommodating host, clean spacious room suitable for a stay of at least a few days. Motel in terrific position in the centre of town. Friendly locals who pointed us to great coffee and pastries up the hill where we would never have found them ourselves. Recommended.

Expensive at $200 a night over Easter but we could book 2 nights only where a lot of places want you to book 3-4 nights over Easter. Excellent location as in Main Street. Quiet. Great toiletries provided. Lovely local soaps and shampoo and conditioner. Lots of variety of teas and 4 packets of biscuits. Coffee and decaffeinated coffee sachets. Night light in bathroom was handy. Didn’t like the shower. Little water pressure and time consuming to adjust to get right temperature. Large room which was great. Wasn’t a fan of choice of pillows. Either soft or hard. No medium. Parking available out front of rooms. Small motel. Manager accomodating. No daily service of rooms but encouraged by manager to attend reception for restock of room items and towels if required. Toaster , cutlery , plates , kettle and sink in room. Fridge with freezer. Ironing board and iron. Large bathroom. Split Air conditioner. Portable column heater. Extra blanket, pillows and hangers in wardrobe.

Very impressed with the room. It was very clean and newly renovated and the owners added many little extra touches to make the stay comfortable and pleasant. The bed was very comfortable and there were different pillow types to choose from. The sheets also were not those scratchy, noisy sheets you often get at hotels. Highly recommend!

So happy with our stay here. Rooms were clean and we had everything we needed. There’s a fridge, sink and a kettle for tea and coffee. Close walk to all the shops and restaurants . Beautiful drive to Yackandandah. Highly recommend and would definitely book again .
