Wangshan Xili Homestay (Siguniangshan Branch)

The room seems new but the hotel conditions seemed like unfinished due to ongoing construction around the area. When I first stepped in, I didn’t feel greeted as a guest as how I would normally be greeted upon arrival at any hotel. The bathroom smelled like a pee and again it didn’t feel like staying at a hotel. Water pressure wasn’t that strong too. It’s a bummer because I think this hotel could have done better in many aspects. There is a halal restaurant nearby and luckin coffee if you need it first thing in the morning. But Mount Siguniang is such s beauty.

The accommodation is located near Mount Siguniang. The weather is cold and fresh, and you can sleep with the windows open. The staff are very helpful, even though we had to communicate using a translator.

The owners and staff are very welcoming and friendly! Rooms are clean. Wifi is very fast (80+ mpbs download speed). If you let them know, they can pick you up and drop you off in the nearby town, like the bus station. The oxygen service in the room is not free, you use wechat to scan the QR code to pay for the oxygen by the hour (min 2 hrs, 58 yuan). Breakfast (7:30-9:30) is very simple, congee with one boiled egg, pickled veggies, and some buns. Location is good. it’s walking distance to some restaurants and ******* can deliver good food to you too. The view is nice, tho mostly construction of the new railway, and you cannot see the peaks of mt siguniang. Make sure to ask or arrange for a driver. Didi does not work in the area. Our favorite taxi driver can be found on wechat at ***********

Lovely view, but the facilities were older than in the photos and not very well maintained. The shower was already wet when we arrived. However, staffare very nice.

Friendly and hospital reception for a family business. Free-flow tea and fruits at the reception. Was fortunate to get a ride to nearby Haizi Valley. Location is on the end of a slope lined with food and convenience stall. The cost of ride from this location to all surrounding valleys is between 10-15rmb per person.

Staying at this mountain accommodation was a lovely experience. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. What really stood out was the extra service—our host personally took the time to guide us to a nearby walking trail, which made our hike so much more enjoyable and stress-free. The peaceful mountain surroundings added to the charm. The photos are true.
