Thian Sian Hotel

Location pretty good , there is a lot of shop around.

We had an amazing one night stay at this little gem. Extremely helpful personnel, by mistake we had booked a room without window and they upgraded us for free. Very warm and welcoming. The building is beautiful and historic, in the middle of the buzzling life of Zhongshan Road. If we ever come back to Xiamen we will definitely stay here again.

The hotel room was clean, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating, making effort to translate and speak English. I expected there to be a lot of noise at night because it’s a very busy area with a lot of shops and restaurants around but once you’re in the room it’s quiet.

The walls were very thin, we could hear people next door through the walls. The balcony was a shared balcony with people next door, so, not much privacy, also could hear them from the room when they were on the balcony. The historical charm of the hotel did not make up for the lack of comfort. Beds were ok. No place to hang towels

Room with 2 queen beds. No wardrobe. One small table. Projector TV system. Not enough clothes hanging hook. Could provide a hanging rack for drying wet towel and clothes. Could provide a shoe rack as well.
