I have a wonderful time here. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Hotel room is of generous sizes and tidy. Walking distance to metro and spoil for choice on dining out. I like the layout of the bathroom, very user friendly. Also there are many movable hangers making hanging of the clothes much easier. Finally if have a fridge for summer will be perfect as I came here in winter not needed.

Amazingly good and clean hotel near places of interest but a bit of noise coming from the school next building early in the morning.Staff are good except that the AC was not working properly even though it in the winter but the room was too warm and unable to adjust to cooler temperatures.Due to communication difficulties was told to switch off the AC instead of solving the problem but managed to open the window for cool air.Breakfasts was average the first day there were no coffee serve or plain water which I found it strange but the next day there’s coffee machine so it a matter of suggestion.Free usage of washing machine and luggage storage.On the right of the hotel there’s a convenient shop and 7-11. Near to Muslim's quarters and Bell tower. InshaAllah will be back soon with the children’s and recommend to friends.Big thank you Ibis staff especially that only Receptionist dude Han so helpful and friendly.

Superb hotel! The location is inside the walled city and conveniently located nearby the Muslim Quarters and Drum Tower. Tucked away from the crowd and not in the busy part of the city. Easy to get around. Highly recommended. Even the rooms are nicely decorated. Thank you, Ibis. We will come again.

I was a bit sceptical at first, but after the first day, I really felt comfortable. Walking distance to Drum tower and all. Front office let me have breakfast for free as being a muslim, I can only eat eggs and toast. I really appreciate their kind gesture.

A well maintained Hotel with modern amenities and friendly and helpful staff.
The room we stayed in had many plug points, separate toilet from the shower cubicle, and a practical standalone wash basin.
The hotel is about 5-8 minutes walk to the Muslim Quarter and a further 2-3 minutes to the Great Mosque of Xi'an. The nearest metro station is Guangjejie which was closer than the Muslim Quarter.
The Bell Tower and the Drum Tower were within walking distance from the Muslim Quarter.
Taxis can be hailed from anywhere.
We took a taxi to the Xi'an Ancient City Wall arranged by the hotel front desk.

We booked this hotel due to its great reviews but we’re a little disappointed. The location is good and the staff were friendly but the hotel was on the dirty side and very basic. One plus is they have a laundry room that I think was available to guests (we didn’t use it but thought it was a very nice perk).

Staff should use service elevator or stairs for carrying Garbage bags and not the guest elevator; if no other choice then moving the garbage bags should be done at a time when there is no guest traffic.
Staff should be trained to understand what a "dnd" ( do not disturb) sign means.
