Great location. Right in the heart of the city. English speaking staff. Clean bathrooms and comfortable beds. I highly recommend it

My second time here at Desti Youth Hostel. Seamless check in process despite I arrived late at midnight. I chose 10 person female. dormitory which located at 2nd floor and the big is spacious that you hardly feel there's 10 people staying in same room. Each bed equipped with thick curtain to provide privacy and a bottle of mineral water also provided and is being replenished every day. Location wise is very good. Close to Bell and Drum tower, and close by Huimin / Muslim street which takes about 5-1 0minutes walking from the hostel. The hostel is accessible via subway Zhonglou station and use exit no 7 to get to the hostel. The hostel also provide free map but you can easily find your way around Xi'an by installing AMAP map. Staff is friendly and well converse in English so don't afraid to seek their help in case you need them. Laundry is also provided with free detergent at front desk. Will stay here again next time I'm in Xi'an. Thank you Desti Youth Hostel and till next time :))

This hostel amazing. Staffs could speak English. The location was good. Very close to Bell Tower. Outside the hostel was plentry of food.

Awesome place, clean, comfortable and close to everything. At the bar you can get food, coffee, good craft beer and cocktails for a good price.

This is one of the best Youth Hostel I’ve been to! It is 24 hours alive! Like even on late midnights you can still hangout with other hostel goers!! Such an amazing staffs that always willing to help suggest where to eat, where to book.. and the facilities are also surprisingly good! Worth every penny you’ll pay!

Clean, perfect location, they provide several free items ( towel, shippers, etc.). The best hostel I have ever stayed in. Overall, superb experience.

The location is the best near metro and near to a lot famous palaces by walking distance. And also you can relax at hostel cafe which have a lot activities.

Great hostel in a perfect location in Xian. The hostel is quite big and very well equipped, clean bathrooms and clean rooms. It also has a very nice common area with a bar, and a decent laundry room. They provide towels and slippers for free, which is great.

Best hostel I’ve ever stayed in! It’s amazing for solo travelers as it’s probably one of the most social hostels I’ve ever been to. Everyone seemed to be traveling solo as well and people were always down to chat and make friends. It’s led to many late night conversations & hang outs with people that i can now happily call my friends. Probably the most amount of foreigners I’ve seen during my travels around China as well. Now I’ll be comparing every hostel i go too with this desti Xi’an experience! made my trip really unforgettable. Highly recommend staying here.

Location is very convenient. Metro exit is just in front of the hotel. There is many food stalls at night and also food stalls in the morning. Two convenient store just 3 minutes walk. Room is very comfortable. Staff are very friendly and willing to help.

I definitely recommend this hostel! I booked a ten people room because I wanted enough space to leave my suitcase on the floor. At first I was unsure whether that's too many people in one room, but everything is so big and clean, I prefer this over other hostels I've been in! Overall the hostel is very clean and they have great accommodation. There is a big common area (sometimes a bit loud though) where they even have live music sometimes. They also have a quieter reading room. The bathroom and showerroom are very clean and spacious. Another great thing is the reception. They are all very friendly and fluent in English! When I wanted to add one more night, Cindy was so nice and booked it for me in less than 2 minutes! The only thing that could be better is the ventilation in rooms. In my room the air felt a bit "stuffy" sometimes. I also had some problems with the WiFi in the common room area, at times it was very slow. I definitely recommend this hostel to anyone who wants to stay in Xi'An for a while! Because I had such a great experience here, I also booked the Desti hostel in Chengdu for my next travel.

First of all, the location is great. The staff are friendly and it feels like they are not Chinese. The bar in the hostel serves craft beer at a very reasonable price. The service, facilities, and quality of the staff all change your impression of China in a good way. The only disappointment is the guests who smoke in the non-smoking stairs and rooms. The Chinese guests have bad manners.

Genuinely the best hostel I have ever stayed at. The public facilities are amazing. The location is perfect (literally right outside the bell tower). HIGHLY reccomend for solo travellers.
