Desit Youth Park (Xi 'an Bell Tower Branch) is located in North Street, Subway station Line 2 Bell Tower Subway Station exit D, turn right about 100m. Xi 'an store has 400+ beds, double bed rooms and standard rooms, software and hardware level in line with international standards. The public space of more than 500 square meters, craft beer, coffee, movies, billiards, books, is an exclusive shared space for young people. In addition to location, facilities and friends-style service, we have a wealth of daily activities for our guests, from talk shows to werewolf killings to folk concerts, so that you can find other people and stop feeling alone. Xi 'an store is also the eighth store of backpack in ten years, in addition, we also have branches in Chongqing, Chengdu, Lijiang, Shangri-La and other places. To build a distant home for travelers is our persistent goal.

I was personally really disappointed by this hostel. The rooms are perfectly clean and I had a good nights sleep but I hated the common area. It looks great but they play loud high energy music from 8am to late so there is nowhere to chill. There is a reading area but there is usually a person making a call from there which makes sense because there is nowhere else. Basically if you are looking for a hostel with a common area you can chill in don’t stay here! Also I thought the room layout wasn’t the best because there is no good place to put your luggage and the shower stalls would benefit from more storage. One final thing, I thought asking us to take off our shoes when we enter is just annoying, especially when lots of people don’t bother to follow this rule.

Wonderful staffs with adequate amenities and bar activities.
Place is second to none! Direct bus to Terracota Army Museum stop is located right infront (Exit D) and famous tourist sites (Bell Tower, Drum Tower, Muslim Quarter, Great Mosque, etc) are conveniently located near the hostel.
Xian wall entrance is just one subway stop from the hostel as well.

I spent two nights in this hostel and I met two incredible and friendly Chinese brothers who were kind enough to invite me to tag along with their trips despite the language barrier. Such a great place to meet other travelling fellows. The staffs were super kind, helpful and friendly too. The air conditioner and other things work well. Maybe some cons are the hallway and the toilets smell cigarettes. The facilities are not the best or the cleanest but useable and not so dirty. Recommended for any solo travelers!

My second time here at Desti Youth Hostel. Seamless check in process despite I arrived late at midnight. I chose 10 person female. dormitory which located at 2nd floor and the big is spacious that you hardly feel there's 10 people staying in same room. Each bed equipped with thick curtain to provide privacy and a bottle of mineral water also provided and is being replenished every day.
Location wise is very good. Close to Bell and Drum tower, and close by Huimin / Muslim street which takes about 5-1 0minutes walking from the hostel. The hostel is accessible via subway Zhonglou station and use exit no 7 to get to the hostel. The hostel also provide free map but you can easily find your way around Xi'an by installing AMAP map.
Staff is friendly and well converse in English so don't afraid to seek their help in case you need them. Laundry is also provided with free detergent at front desk.
Will stay here again next time I'm in Xi'an. Thank you Desti Youth Hostel and till next time :))

This hostel amazing. Staffs could speak English. The location was good. Very close to Bell Tower. Outside the hostel was plentry of food.
