I recently stayed at Xitang Hotel in Xi'an and had an absolutely wonderful experience! The location is perfect - just 3-5 minutes away from the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda and the main pedestrian street, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. Despite being in such a lively area, the hotel itself was peaceful and comfortable. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, providing a great place to relax after a day of exploring. And here’s a delightful bonus—unlimited free ice cream! Such a fun and refreshing perk. Another highlight was the street where the hotel is located—it’s full of studios where you can try on traditional Chinese outfits and get themed makeup done, adding a unique cultural experience to the stay. Transportation was also hassle-free, with the airport just about an hour away by taxi. Overall, I highly recommend Xitang Hotel—great location, excellent service, comfortable rooms, and some lovely extra touches. A fantastic choice for anyone visiting Xi'an! Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)

Super close to Mrt train. That is very convenient. Near to Shaanxi museum and everbright city walking aisle. Checked in at 2am in the morning. Worth.

This hotel is in a central location - close to subway, and local attractions including Grand Tang Mall, Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Shaanxi History Museum. It’s clean and value for money. Just note it can be quite noisy due to its closeness to the Grand Tang Mall’s musical fountain.

Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff and CLEAN. Enjoyed my stay, slept really well and breakfast was very good. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

Highly recommended if this is your first time in Xi’an. The location is so convenient for all the touristy things, everything is just a stone thrown distance away. Front desk is very helpful. Resturant with quality food which is good when too exhausted to eat out.

The hotel is very new, the rooms were very spacious. It was very easy to get around to the different tourist locations. The biggest issue I had with the room was that no matter how many times we left the AC running it would never go below 25 degrees Celsius even when we set it to 19 degrees. We told the front desk and they sent someone to the to fix it twice and it still didn’t work. Lastly, there was a drain fly problem in the toilet where I killed on average 7-10 small black drain flies everyday. We had to keep the toilet door closed at all time to ensure that they don’t fly out to the main bedroom. The staff were very quick to offer a different room but as we were only staying for a short time and it wasn’t super hot we felt it was too bothersome to change and move everything.

The hotel rooms were generally clean and the beds were comfortable. The hotel service was good, but you should be aware that the hotel staff, including at the front desk, speaks very limited to no English. Breakfast was very cheap and tasted good, but options for western-style breakfast were very limited. As seems to be usual in China, despite the hotel having no smoking signs, there was a slight whiff of tobacco in the corridors and the bathroom of some of our rooms also smelled like tobacco.

Excellent location, even more convenient than the other hotel I booked near the wall. MTR station 大雁塔站 is within 2-min walk, famous music fountain at 7pm and 9pm is within 3- min walk, with hundreds of food stalls and souvenirs nearby. The facilities don’t look the best but the 3-person room (with 1 double bed and 1 single bed) is very comfy. Bed sheets and pillow are clean, shower water is stable, hot enough and powerful. Room is spacious. Don’t expect much from the breakfast which is normal. But we could eat until 10am though the official time is 7-9:30am. If you go on an early trip after 6:30, the hotel could pack breakfast for you. Definitely a good stay for families. Plus, you could get bottled water anytime. Staff is very friendly, even helped me contact the 2nd hotel for me. Dinner at 不夜城 is reasonably priced too. Near in mind I went there before 1st May, less crowded than normal.

Staff was very friendly and accomodating. Hotel is in a prime location within close vicinity of Dayan Tower yet very quiet. Good for sleeping. Also has a lot of restaurants around the hotel. 😊

The front desk service is very good and excellent. I will come again next time.
