The hotel is in a really good location. The complex is really nice. However even if you cannot say it is dirty, the toilette of the room was really clean, the building is really overlooked and seems abandoned. In the room there are evidence of humidity infiltration. The hall is a bit messy. There is a really nice terrace but you can not enjoy it because you are not allowed to get in. Again, the state of abandonment is evident. However, the price/quality is more than fair.

I was in room 210 on second floor. The air condition was too old and noisy. There was water flowing out from air conditioner.The exhaust fan in the toilet was also very noisy. l have registered the complaint on the first desk and let's see the result guys

Nice staff, ready to help. Well located (less than 10 mi. walk to the entrance of the South Gate of Xi'an wall). Not so far from metro station (about 10 min. walk). The only disappointing point: the other guests speaking too loud in the hallway and sometimes the noise from people on the street

The hotel has a great location near the Yongning (south) gate. It was overall a pleasant stay I can recommend. The city view room is also very nice as it offers a view on the city wall.

Pros: good location within the wall, many place to eat around the hotel.
Cons: very bad mattress and old air conditioner.
Others: there are some very nice cats walking around the hall and the stairs, if you're allergic take this into consideration

Helpful reception and great location. Cleanliness can be improved, our black bags became “brown” from picking up dust from the floor in room.

This simple little hotel has a big heart. The staff are so helpful. There are information slips (in Chinese and English) on the directions to many main venues.
The little kittens playing give the hotel are home away from home vibe. I'm a solo female traveler and I felt very safe here.
I liked the hotel so much that I stayed an extra night!

The only bad things are that there are a lot of hairs on the floor and the toilet is very smelly.

Room was good, spacious and clean and the Aircon worked well. The staff at reception were very rude and unfriendly. If you are going to work on a hotel reception you should at least say hello to the guests or offer a smile or even just look up from your phone. The Egyptian guy who worked there was nice though. They have lots of nice cats in the reception. The common spaces are not really used and especially the roof had a lot of rubbish lying around, I don't think anyone ever uses it. We found it difficult to get any breakfast in the area.
