Xiyou Hotel (Ancient City Wall Xi‘an Station Store)

This is a very mixed review. On one hand, the location was good, right next to the wall and with a 10-minute walk to the metro, and maybe a 20-minute walk to the Drum and Bell Towers. There is also a fantastic park right on the other side of the wall from the hotel. The room was huge and had great facilities. However, the service was pretty bad. The room was kind of cleaned some days, but never properly done, there was no fridge or tea and coffee in the room (even though it is beneath a cafe), and the guy working the desk was either never around or totally disinterested - I think definitely a different person from the ones in other reviews. So parts of it we loved and would recommend, and parts of it were just, well, weird!

Nice huge room near Xi’an railway (25 mn walking) and big wall. The room was at level minus 1. Very modern and spacious enough for two, very good mattress and nice bathroom. Excellent service from the little brother and good Illy brand coffee. What I would have appreciate : a teapot with cups inside the room (possibility to ask for hot water at the bar upstairs). Best aerator: smelt tobacco and humidity. Street food in the area but need to walk, not easy for breakfast. These apart we liked the place and really appreciated the good willingness of the staff.

一進門就感覺裝修很新，很現代，是我喜歡的樣子，馬桶是智能馬桶，淋浴跟廁所是分開的，地暖，來的時候正好碰上降温，一進屋好温暖，腳底都是熱熱的，電視可以投屏，有浴缸可以泡澡，衞生打掃的也很乾凈，前台態度非常好，有求必應，有問必答，推薦來他家，多住還有優惠
