Honglu Garden Hotel (Xi'an Zhonggulou Huimin Street Branch)

We had an amazing time from the moment we arrived we were spoiled with warm freshly baked Sweet potatoes 🍠, absolutely devine on a cold winter's day. The evening they helped us book spa treatments nearby the hotel that was beyond what we could write in words. We booked a tour via trip.com they came to pick us up at the hotel,Nancy was very helpful and thoughtful with a toddler it can be a bit challenging going to the Terracotta warriors because the attention spam isn't as long as the line of history one need to take in while enjoying this amazing heritage site. The next morning we received a warm cooked breakfast it's highly recommend if you are foreign with a any specific eating habits,try the nearby Starbucks,but if you can and do enjoy Chinese cuisine menus this is special and very well represented. Our last day we walked the wall and enjoyed the morning market was absolutely thr best location during our travel in xi'an. We can highly recommend this hotel if you walk out the hotel turn left and go up the one way you will find a seven eleven on your left corner also super nice especially for foreigners who would like a cup of coffee once waking up...

This hotel wasn't exactly what I expected, though it was very nice and clean and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It was much more sparse than I expected, none of the 'western' expectations I had were met (I don't mean this cruelly, I just mean no breakfast options, no concierge, no coffee available, no English speakers though we used translation apps so there were no problems there). Excellent location, very beautiful hotel, pet friendly and I cannot stress enough how kind and helpful the staff were.

Fantastic location right next to the ancient city wall! Nice decor inside the hotel, and lovely roof terrace with great views! Clean and tidy, although a few paint chips and scuffs, everything was in good working order though! Felt very quiet even though it’s close to lots of vibrant areas of the city.

Thank you to 豆豆 who took such good care of us! The hotel is lovely and well located. It gets a touch noisy because of proximity to the walls (morning crowd to the 早市 and evening crowd at the many restaurants along the street)

Dirty. Old. Full of dust. Bugs and other insects inside the room. They say they sell breakfast at 49RMB and it is not true!!! They simply do not have breakfast. I was bitten inside the bed by some bugs, outside by another one. The toilets are full of hair. Expensive. It was an awful experience. Don't go!

Very nice hotel located at a strategic location. Service and cleanliness is top notch. Receptionist Gege is attentive and helpful. There is a laundry room with washer and dryer which are useful during the trip. The kids especially love the cat and the huge room. Outside environment is nice too, near morning market that sells delicious local snacks and cozy bars at night. Can't praise this hotel enough. Thank you!
