Hotel Review: Somerset Future Centre Wuhan
Date of Stay:** March 16-22, 2025
Overview:**
Somerset is a charming establishment situated in a bustling commercial and residential district, conveniently located above a mall filled with shops and restaurants. With subway access just at the basement, it’s an ideal destination for both business travelers and vacationers looking to explore the area. Our recent stay in a two-bedroom apartment with a fantastic night city view was enjoyable, with a few minor hiccups that didn’t overshadow the overall experience.
Check-In Experience:**
The check-in process was smooth and efficient. The staff greeted us with warm smiles and complimentary drinks, setting a welcoming tone for our stay. They provided detailed information about the hotel's amenities and nearby attractions.
Room Quality:**
Our two-bedroom apartment was spacious and well-appointed, featuring a stunning night view of the city skyline. The modern decor created a cozy atmosphere, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The kitchen area was well-equipped, with coffee machine, washer and dryer, making it easy during our stay.
Amenities:**
The hotel offers a variety of amenities, including a fitness center, sauna and jacuzzi. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the restaurant, with Wuhan noodles made to order.
Location:**
Located above a vibrant mall, Somerset Hotel provides easy access to a variety of shops and restaurants right at your doorstep. The subway exit in the basement makes getting around the city incredibly convenient. While the highway is nearby, the hotel maintains a peaceful atmosphere, making it a great place to unwind after a busy day.
Service:**
Overall, the service was excellent. Staff members were attentive and quick to address any concerns. A special shoutout to COCO who went above and beyond to assist us throughout our stay. She was proactive in ensuring we had everything we needed, making our experience even more enjoyable. Additionally, Manager APRIL deserves high praise for all the wonderful arrangements she made for our visit.
Conclusion:**
Somerset Hotel is a lovely place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the city. With its friendly staff, great amenities, and prime location, we would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, yet convenient getaway. We’ll definitely consider returning in the future!

Hotel is well located. Room are spacious and elegant. Overall i had amazing stay experience. staff is courteous and hospitable especially Zhikang and Carrie from Reception. Thanks for Wuhan style souvenir from Evan Reception. We definitely will come back again.

The service apartment is very new, room decoration, appliances are in tip-toe condition. Front desk staffs are friendly and helpful. Checking-in and out were smooth.
Hotel is accessible to subway line #4 which brings you easily to nodes of high-speed railway stations. Hotel is also situated above the shopping mall which offers variety of food, entertainment and shopping venues.
The Wanya restaurant in the hotel serves breakfast from 7am to 11am with western, Chinese and local food. Free brealfast was offered to my child out of goodwill during my stay.
Liked the wash-dry washing machine, it saved me from washing and drying of winter clothes.

Apartments have a great location. There is a mall in the. Building as well as tube station. You can find delicious food, hairdressers, as well as grocery store in mall.

Everything was OK except:
- very positive: superior service during the breakfast done by Ivy Zhou, with her very good english and excellent service
- negative: very poor Wifi, inacceptable for such kind of apartment hotel, where wifi is expected to be at the best

酒店位置方便，樓內電梯可直達萬科商場。房間設施很新很完善，很乾凈衞生，每天都有人打掃，本次因受傷是輪椅出行都沒有感到設施的不便利，就是沒有單獨的淋浴，是與浴缸一體的。
但是特別要説一下與環境設施相對應的就是本次感覺到不太專業的前台服務。我們入住時間恰逢武漢櫻花季，而且當週週末要舉辦漢馬，但我們是工作日週中入住，連住了3晚，前台一直無法提供令人滿意的服務。盛捷作為雅詩閣旗下的酒店，特別是作為服務酒店，理應提供比較專業的服務（本人之前也已在北京等地住過多家服務公寓）。
問題1：我們入住時已與前台確認我們有車需錄入車牌，前台表明需離開前來前台錄入即可。轉天我們離開前又找了同一個工作人員辦理車牌錄入，結果出停車場的時候發現並沒有錄成功，收取了60元停車費。後續向酒店反映問題，可能也不好解決，最後由付款寶個人轉了停車費回來。
問題2：首日入住後我們由於比較滿意房間配置，立刻在原平台原房續訂了2晚，預訂成功後需要在酒店線下付款。轉天中午12點前我們去錄入車牌同時説明續住，前台表示已經看到續住訂單，完成了續住，但是不需要線下付款，反覆表示已經在網上付款過，我雖然困惑但是就先離開了。等午飯後再回房間已經刷不開了，又折騰回前台發現就是沒有做續住，這次又換了一個前台感覺也不太明白，我反覆堅持要線下付款才弄好，最後也忘了再收取按金（首日刷的預授權也刷成了消費）
問題3：我因為坐輪椅不方便，雖然有同行人但是退房時行李比較多，打電話給前台，前台表示看一下有沒有阿姨幫忙，之後就再也沒有回覆，最後還是由同行人來回兩趟搬完了行李。
問題4：最後都已經辦理好了退房，已經吃完飯了，前台還在打電話問要不要續住……
感覺這家盛捷前台普遍都比較懵懵的，可能是剛開業的原因，但是遇到了其他的工作人員都很好，我們退房那天是漢馬，人非常多，希望大家能有個美好的體驗吧。
