The travel lodge at Wooton was on the outskirts of the town near the m1 motorway
The decor is very run down a side door with broken glass and a weedy path greets you on your approach from the car park.
The room was comfortable the bed very comfortable. Shower was fine coffee tea avaliable in room.
We arrived at 2.00am but not a problem as a lovely girl called Monique I believe sorted us out on arrival letting us use her mobile phone as we had a problem to sort out. Her warm welcome was very much appreciated
I asked for an ironing board and iron in the morning again no problem from another female member of staff.
Stayed two nights and again was helped by the male receptionist to order a taxi which to Luton Airport had to be booked over the phone this gentleman made the call through his phone.
The Toby restaurant annexed to the hotel was also in need of decor refresh bathrooms particularly bad smell.
Only instant coffee available with water from an old boiler type of thing really out dated. Should be made clearer that you have to order from the bar section and pay in advance before going to get your breakfast.!!!
Overall OK for the money staff excellent let down by the decor and in need of a cleaning modern upgrade. Location would require a car as about 5 miles from northampton Town centre

Friendly and caring staff . Good team . I got in early and I was told on what to do and house keeping was top notch. I didnt have any reason to worry as the place was calm. Will always visit this place and recommend it to anyone . The interesting part of it is that you have shops that are very close to the hotel. Just keep it up.

Great stay and a warm welcome from Vlada. Fantastic location with a lovely restaurant and amenities nearby. The room was clean warm and quiet with all the items you would want. Would definitely stay here again as it provided us with a much needed place to stay.

Hello… it’s Laurence here aka the county champion spunk trumpet. Came to Northampton with the promise of acquiring fresh meat into me and my wife Mandy’s open relationship. I know some people have strong opinions that this hotel has a pungent smell however the only thing fishy about this place is Mandy’s filthy dirt box. Mandy spotted a fresh catch a youngen called Tommy who got lost at sea after digging at her Bermuda Triangle. I can’t be happier with the place… plenty of room for our activities. Its also kept Mandy’s growler happy. The food was exquisite but nothing was more tasty than the little minx serving my sausage baps in the morning (wouldn’t mind exploring her baps).

Always stay here when I travel to see family .Was met by Debbie we know her from our previous stays.As we expected the hotel was warm and welcoming .Needs a few nip and tucks as it's looking tired .will stay again as it is always a pleasant stay .Makes it enjoyable to visit family knowing that we have a nice place to stay .

I had the best of time when I stayed. I always felt welcome and I thought Emily was amazing if I had any problems I could communicate them to her without any issues and if I needed anything she would make sure I got it. She's an asset to her company and staff team and is a brilliant role model. I would 100% stay again while she's working there.

Well all i can say after not having a high expectation being a travel lodge how pleasantly suprised we were . Great value for money ( booked a few months in advance) £40 a night . The room was spacious , very clean and a really comfortable bed . Definitely be retuning
