Courtyard Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach

Disappointed and surprised in this Marriott property. Sheets were stained and had hair on them. Requested to have them changed which was done promptly. Big holes in the shower curtain. Filthy carpets. The positives are the friendly front staff and location.

Very nice hotel, with very friendly employees. Felicia and Lionel were very kind, welcoming and an asset to the Marriott chain - 5 big stars! The room was perfect, very clean, with comfortable beds! Very sanitary, there is even a sanitizing wipe beside the tv remote! Thank you!!

DO NOT STAY HERE. this is the most unprofessional staff I’ve ever witnessed. They are not truthful and do not care about the guest experience. It’s almost as if they want to upset people in their hotel. It’s like a twilight zone. Please, do not stay here. Save yourself the burdens.

I do not recommend staying here. First, we check in at around 10pm. We drove all day and we all were tired so when we went to our room and discovered that the beds were unmade and there was a weird smell, we were unhappy. We called the front desk and the lady was rude and left us on hold the whole time so we just went downstairs and told the lady there , which she said she put the wrong room number by accident. We got to our new hotel room, also does not look like the pictures , the beds were very small and we had 4 people staying in one room so it was very tight. We also discovered that there was stains on the bedsheets and when we asked for another, we never got it. As we checked out today, the lady at the front desk was in the corner on her phone unresponsive to anyone.. dont go here !

The hotel and bistro were good but the housekeeping service was lacking. When we returned to our room after a day beach hopping, we found the beds unmade, the trash cans full and the used towels were not removed/replaced. When we called about it so we could shower, we were told that we should have asked for housecleaning when we checked in. When we requested at least clean towels we were told to come get them or wait until someone was available to delivery them. We had to call a second time to get the towels. Nothing else was done by the time we checked out the next morning. I will not stay at this hotel again.

This is a nice example of the Courtyard Marriott chain with friendly service and good rooms. There is ample parking and restaurants nearby with a large Walmart too. The rooms were clean and very comfortable and we enjoyed a peaceful relaxing stay.

The room was not clean. We couldn’t check in until almost 430 because the room wasn’t ready. When we did check in we were extremely disappointed. The sheets were stained, the shower was dirty, towels were dirty/stained, black/brown stains all over the shower curtain, appeared to be something spilled down the wall, the headboard pillow cushion thing was ripped pretty significantly. Overall pretty gross/unappealing and not worth the price paid.

The hotel itself is old, which is fine if it is well maintained - but this building does not look like it is maintained well. The service here is also awful. We called a week in advance to let them know that we would need 2 cribs for our stay. When we arrived to our room in the evening, no cribs were to be found. We called the front desk to inform them, they said they would work on it. Ten minutes later, we call again and they say that they don't have a key to the storage room and they were trying to get a hold of the day manager for access. We decided to just pull out the sleeper sofa and use the bedding from our own bed to set it up for the kids. We called again to let them know that we wouldn't need the cribs any longer, but please bring us some extra bedding. Another 15 minutes rolls by. My husband calls again. They're "working on it". After another 10 minutes, my husband just goes up to the front desk to get it himself. By this time, the kiddos are super fussy from missing their bedtime, so we had to deal with that. The next morning, we went to the front desk to ask them to inform housekeeping to leave the sleeper sofa alone. We had basically built the kids a fort so they wouldn't roll off in their sleep, and didn't want it to be torn down just for us to have to rebuild it again. We also asked for more conditioner as we were out when I took a shower the night before (I always thought housekeeping was supposed to check the status of all the toiletries in the bathroom, but maybe I'm wrong). When we arrived back to our room in the afternoon, nothing was cleaned. It did not look like housekeeping stopped by at all. The conditioner bottle was not refilled. I'm not sure if they misconstrued our instructions about the sleeper sofa as "leave our whole room alone". Regardless, it was a unpleasant stay, and we ended up leaving a day earlier, partly due to the service.

I was checked into two dirty rooms, 275 & 266, both of which had stains on the wall and floor, hair in the sink and floor, damaged furniture, dirt on the sheets, dead bugs, and trash on the floor. When I brought it to the front desk manager's attention she dismissed my concerns and notified her General Managers. I took pictures of the rooms and tried to explain my concerns to the management teams, but I was dismissed. All the managers were extremely unprofessional as they shouted at me to leave their property. I was forced out of the property and threatened as they stated that they do not have accommodations for my paid stay. I have never been insulted like that in my life.
