Logis la Ferme du Vert

Lovely quiet hotel only about 20 minutes from Calais. We had the family suite which was extremely spacious with a large double (and a cot) and a second room with 3 single beds. It included a large bathroom with walk in a shower and jacuzzi bath (a hit with teenage girls) as well as a second separate toilet and shower. It is accessed up a narrow staircase and over 2 levels so not suitable for people with limited mobility. A lovely breakfast was included in the room. We also ate at the hotel restaurant which was welcoming and the food was excellent. The menu was limited so probably not suitable for multiple evenings. (Restaurant L'eau a la Bouche about 5 mins drive was also great.)

Lovely place to stay for a few nights in this former ferme carre now being run by the new proprietor for a couple of seasons. Many small improvements in the bedrooms and public areas. The restaurant is significantly better and is now obviously becoming somewhere worth making a detour to in order to enjoy the encouragingly short menu from which every dish we have tried has been excellent. Very helpful/friendly staff. Breakfasts are a really sumptuous especially if you like the cheese from the fromagerie in Wierre-Effroy. Some of the best baguette we have ever tasted from a local (what else) boulangerie (ask Clemence and she will tell you where it is). All in all, well worth staying here, enjoy the ambience and food - you won't be disappointed.

We have stayed at this logis at least 7 times. It is one of our favourites. It is in a quiet situation. There is plenty of safe car parking. The owners new and previous (Thomas) always make us so welcome and nothing is too much trouble. The food in the restaurant is always excellent, is also part of the attraction. It is a very comfortable place to stay.
