Courtyard Wichita Falls

Staff was very helpful! As soon as I was trying to get into the side door, I tried my key but it didn't work. So, i tried to try it again and housekeeper by the name of Joni, was generous enough to open the door for me and my walker. She asked if I have had a good day and listened as if she was interested on what I had to say!! If my day wasn't going well after talking to Joni it did get better! Thank you!

The bed was so comfortable and Dakota at the front desk was so helpful. We are definitely coming back! The pool was so clean and so was the Jacuzzi it was so comfortable! Thanks Dakota! Definitely coming back and back to the bar. Drinks too....

We have always had great stays at Marriott Courtyard Hotels, so when we made plans to attend the Leeann Morgan Comedy Show in Wichita Falls, we booked with Courtyard Marriott. When we check in the girl at the front desk was less than welcoming. She was clearly not a customer service person. Our booking through Marriott Bonvoy said to mention/show a promotional code for a free cooked to order breakfast. When we brought this to the check in girls attention, she said they were not accepting the offer? Seriously? Our Marriott Bonvoy reservation confirmation showed we had this free offer but she refused to accept it. She said if you want breakfast we would have to pay for. Not friendly, Not welcoming. She was a total disappointment. As we traversed to our room we encountered several maids. All American, all friendly, all cheerful. What a nice surprise. We downloaded our things into what looked like a fabulously clean room, and headed down to their bar for a drink with friends that were also going to the comedy show. The young black bartender was awesome, Great personality. Great bartender. Great drinks. We headed off to dinner, then the comedy show, then returned to our room. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. The water for the bathtub was barely warm, same for the shower. By the time the bathtub filled, the water was not even warm. We tried adjusting the shower head but it was loose in the wall and likely leaking water in the wall. The floor tiles were buckled from a previous water leak, Caulking around the shower and baseboards look like it was done by someone with their eyes closed. The light fixture above the mirror in the bathroom was covered in rust. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. Management and maintenance staff need to be booted, and maid staff and the black bartender need big raises. We won't return to the Marriott Courtyard Hotel.

Such an awful place with such awful people. The bathroom had hair on the walls which was only noticed in the morning and after a change of rooms would be acceptable. They changed the senior rate which I had reserved and told me the extra amount was tax. The tax rate here is 6.25 which would’ve added $5 to the total bill. They added 20 dollars plus a holding fee. They seem to be trained to say, “I’m new here, I have no idea”. They lack integrity which is shown in their terrible customer service and inadequately cleaned facilities. They are, in my opinion, a skeevy establishment

Made guaranteed confirmed reservation. Arrived at hotel to be told system issue allowed reservation but hotel is sold out. Only option is to pay for two king rooms. Horrible staff service boldly lied about availability and timing of availability. Almost 30 years as Marriott member, I have never experienced this lack of support or service, much less rude and confrontational staff (Miriah- night auditor). Complete disappointment!

Stayed here for work. Nice location. Clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. No issues with room. Close to restaurants and the main highway. I will definitely be back next time I am in town. I did not eat here. I liked that they had coffee and water available downstairs.

As soon as I walked through the door, Dakota, who was vacuuming stopped immediately to assist me. He was very friendly and attentive and even gave me a complimentary breakfast since I had been overbooked at another hotel and sent to the Marriott. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. Dakota should be recognized for his great personality and committed customer service. Thank you!

The "Courtyard formula" works - providing guests with a consistently good hotel experience: clean, contemporary amenities, nice furnishings, and my favorite - the ability to grab a beer or other refreshing beverage at their lobby panty. In and out for one night, no issues.

Our room on the top floor was large, although showing its age (alongside a lot of the hotel). The bathroom in particular had a lot of cracking grouting and sealant which needs repairing. The AC was loud on any setting. The lobby was quite smart and modern. The staff we came across were generally friendly and helpful. The WiFi speeds were decent. There was plenty of parking outside of the hotel.
