Failed to meet the standards of other Premier Inns we've used- disappointing. Scruffy exterior due to renovations- breakfast is in a separate building necessitating a walk in the cold. Room cold on check in -not welcoming. At times could not get attention at reception even when pressing bell!

Easy to find and good parking, room was a good size and clean, facilities were good (including wi-fi as partly on business), comfortable bed, and restaurant close by and offered a good variety for both breakfast and dinner. Fairly central to all of the places I wanted to go-Already planning my next trip!

It was noisy, we were in Room 101, therefore right next to the stairwell and the banging door. We arrived within an hour of check-in and were informed the room wasn't ready (not a problem). Parking was difficult, partially due to three cars double parking and the car park was full. We requested more loo paper whilst we were out but none was provided. The extractor fan was constantly on which was a nuisance. The hotel is outside Whitstable, therefore somewhat misleading. A cleaner ran past us on the stairs as we were checking out (carrying items down the stairs - there was no lift) was precarious WITHOUT someone nearly toppling you. I have a photograph of a trip hazard where a vacuum cleaner with a long taut lead was left blocking the corridor and my wife tripped over the cable (she didn't see it as her hands were full)

Unfortunately not up to the standards of other Premier Inns. My room was really grotty - with stains up the wall, cobwebs, dust and stains on the furniture and surfaces and flakes on plaster in the bathroom. The sheets were thankfully clean but the room needed a good airing and wipe down before I settled in for the night. The room needs a refresh and deep clean. Was a disappointing sight considering I came to my room tired late at night and just wanted to flop. Would not stay there again.

As always the Premier Inn at Whitstable did not fail The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms always clean and comfortable. We stay often as our friends live nearby. It would be nice though if the bar and restaurant was open as in the past in order for ourselves and our friends to use during our stay

Not the usual standard of premier inn, place felt old and grubby, peculiar damp smell throughout. Found rubbish under the bed, and terrible condensation on the windows. Breakfast was served in the ‘shut down’ pub next door, not a great deal of variety was on offer for the continental breakfast, and we was sticking to the floor in the drinks area. The toilets left a lot to be desired. Staff were pleasant but uninterested! I won’t be rushing back

Best pillows, we always stay here to visit family, great staff and good location and yummy breakfast the staff in the restaurants where lovely, also the staff on the reception are very good nothing is to much trouble for them, I did notice that the car park was a bit of a state with a big hole in the tarmac on the ramp going into it, I hope this gets fixed soon.

We made the mistake of eating on the on site restaurant , The food was beyond basic, we has a chicken katsu curry £12-99 (three bits of chicken, on a bowl of plain white rice and no sides or dips), Macaroni cheese £12-79 ( macaroni cheese in a bowl again no sides included) plus two coffees. The coffee machine had to be switched on, we arrived at the restaurant at 7-50pm and coffee look more like a milk shake then a coffee. No change at the till so in the end we paid £40 cash. The food was more suited to school dinner then a restaurant and left very unhappy at the price I paid
