I spent a couple of weeks researching cabins online in the Helen area and finally settled on this one, mainly due to the highly rated reviews and online description and pictures as well. Our stay was outstanding! The cabin actually looks much better in person than the online pictures depict. It was meticulously clean...seemed brand new, and the decorations inside were beautiful. The lot itself is quite large and spread out very nicely...with the covered picnic area, firepit area, and bench swing with the amazing view of Mt Yonah. We spent most of our time doing hikes in the Yonah/Helen area, visiting wineries in the Yonah and Dahlonega area and dining in restaurants in Helen. This cabin is very centrally located for what we wanted to do, so it fit our needs perfectly. Chris, the host, went above and beyond to ensure all our questions were answered and that we had the best of vacations. I highly recommend Thunder Ridge.

So cute, relaxing and inviting
We absolutely enjoyed this beautiful, well kept cabin over the 4th of July!! We enjoyed our morning coffee sitting in the rocking chairs with a beautiful view of Mt. Yonah! Evenings sitting in the Adirondack chairs watching the last glimpses of the Sun go down behind the mountain. A young Fawn made an appearance about 20’ from the front porch!! It was so easy communicating with the hosts! They went to every extent to make sure our stay was memorable and, it totally was!! Five Stars isn’t a high enough rating! Extremely clean and so cute!!!

Thunder Ridge Lodge
We recently stayed at Thunder Ridge Lodge in Cleveland, GA, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! The cabin was impeccably clean and well-maintained, making it a comfortable and inviting place to stay. The highlight of the trip was undoubtedly the breathtaking view of Yonah Mountain. Waking up to such a gorgeous view every morning was truly a treat. The location was perfect for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. Additionally, the owners, Chris and Maria, were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable. There are also several nearby vineries that are worth visiting, adding to the overall experience. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a serene and picturesque retreat. We can't wait to return!Thank you, Chris and Maria!

Wonderful property!
We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! The Mountain View is fantastic, the place was immaculate, and the amenities provided were excellent, especially considering the reasonable price.

Relaxing retreat
Our family spent a few night at Thunder Ridge. it was rainy weather and we still enjoyed our time and loved the cabin. Owners were nice and recommended where to eat, etc. we would go back to stay longer. The VanWey’s

The best mountain getaway

Perfect mountain getaway
Cabin was as advertised: great location, impeccably clean and very comfortable. The view of Yonah mountain did not disappoint. Perfect place for rest and relaxation complimented by hiking and wine tasting. Host was most accommodating. Will return.

A hidden piece of paradise!
We cannot say enough about how awesome this cabin was! We rent cabins quite frequently and this one was by far the absolute best. We loved the view of Mt. Yonah, the perfect fire pit, the hot tub, the awesome king sized bed and luxury linens, and most of all the stellar hosts who paid meticulous detail to ensure we had an amazing stay! We cannot wait until our next stay!

Awesome
Everything was spot-on with advertisements. The views were amazing, the property was clean and squared away and communication with Chris (owner) was very prompt. Will be adding this to our weekend getaway location list.
