Chiltern Guest House

The Chiltern is a great place to stay .very clean ,great breakfast .Close to town am going back .The service was quick and the meal was hot and of good quality .there. s a nice garden to the front ,plenty of sunshine. Close by is the Elsinore pub ,that,s worth a visit

Great location less than five minutes in to the heart of Whitby. Apartment is well furnished and equipped everything you could possibly need. And at a very reasonable price, would strongly recommend Chiltern Apartments for any stay on Whitby

Very good service and the room was lovely. The shower was a great size too. We had breakfast one morning which was very good and fresh. There were good options as well as fresh fruit available. The walk from the B&B into the town wasn't far at all, and with the weather being nice it was a nice stroll.

Beautiful guest house, a home from home. Nothing was too much trouble perfect host. Right in the middle of everything you would want in Whitby. Rooms lovely, parking, definitely found the perfect place to stay whilst in Whitby. It’s a must…

We stayed here for 2 nights as a couple visiting Whitby. We were advised to call a few days before and we were given the details on parking and how to find the hotel which was extremely helpful. The street outside is very busy but we managed to get a space opposite the church. Parking disc was given to us at the b and b which was really reasonable as only five pounds for the duration of our stay. We were in room one at the top of the flight of stairs which was extremely clean and comfortable and we slept we both nights. We didn't have the breakfast as my husband is not one for having an appetite in the morning but it smelt absolutely amazing! The hotel itself is really close to the main town and is a perfect base to explore. We would definitely come back to this hotel it was absolutely perfect and the owners were absolutely lovely. Very friendly and welcoming. We look forward to visiting again in the future!

Stayed for a couple of nights at the beginning of July. Fortunately we had a bedroom on the first floor - large bed, although fairly small room. God size shower. Excellent Breakfast (additional charge). Limited on-road parking, and a pleasant downhill walk to the Town - but remember you have quite a long walk back up to the Guest House. Very pleased with our couple of nights here - recommended, and would use again if in the area.
