What a lovely friendly place, let me leave my bags before check in time so could get out n about and they looked after my bags on check out too till the afternoon. Room was lovely, bed was brilliant and the view just lying on the bed was magnificent. Loved the wagon wheels in the room yummy at night lol, they also had crisps & water in the room, plenty of tea, coffee just outside the room. WiFi was great too, great deal booking direct. Thank you to everyone at the Endeavour xx

A wonderful pub with a friendly atmosphere on the quayside. Busy place, which is testament to the friendly atmosphere. Live music Fridays and Saturdays when we went in, very much a sing along place. Great beer, reasonable prices, friendly punters and staff.

We stayed here at the end of walking the coast to coast and had our best night’s sleep out of all the places we stayed. After enjoying fish and chips in the bar we went up to our very comfy room. The owners have refurbished the rooms to a high standard and there were lots of lovely finishing touches like bottles of water and wagon wheels as a very welcome treat. We enjoyed our night here so much we have already booked to come back later in the year.

Beautiful traditional English pub, set in a perfect location for exploring our favourite little seaside town. Spotlessly clean, and all requirements catered for without question. The owners who are always welcoming and friendly, should be extremely proud of this lovely homely (especially at Christmas time!) and cosy place. This is the second time we have stayed, and we'll definitely be back! Thank you! Julie and Barry

On a breezy damp night we found The Endeavour…. Brilliant old fashioned pub with a real fire…. Warm, welcoming and great friendly staff. Lots of drinks on offer so we’ll have to stay longer to get the best value. Great cocktails. Also they also accommodate customers who buy fish and chips in the takeaway next door and provide condiments and cutlery…. Outstanding welcoming service. A first class pub….

Stumbled across this pub by chance when visiting Whitby with my sister and we are glad we did. Excellent pint of Guinness, friendly staff and delicious pork pies. What more could you ask for in a pub. A real gem.

£6.70 for a pint of Birra Moretti? Are you being serious? I feel like I have been robbed. Absolutely disgraceful. Hopefully this post will inform others and they won't bother going anywhere near this pub. Given the responses to others views on the pricing, the owner doesn't seem to care. VOTE WITH YOUR FEET.

Called in as part of a large group on a stag do.... the bar staff were very friendly and the real ales were in good order. The security staff kept an eye on the group and often appeared nervous that things were getting out of hand....there was another mixed group in there... who were enjoying some good banter with us... the security staff asked us to calm down....the other group even owned up !! anyway, that apart the pub was really good... its always been one of my faves in Whitby... oh and if you get the chance purchase one of the pork pies and some pickle.... very good !!
