Rosslyn House

If it was possible to give a score more than 5 we would. What a gem of a B&B this is and felt so homely. Stayed for the Christmas market weekend. Martin and Vanessa were so welcoming as soon as we arrived and nothing was too much trouble. Their communication and advise from booking to during our stay was gratefully recieved and reassuring. What made this stay more special was the little touches from arriving to a nice warm, spotless room to finding slices of fresh cake on the side with a jar of sweets as well as fresh cold milk and water in the fridge. The bed was one of the most comfiest beds we have slept in for a long time, that along with how quiet the area was made for an amazing sleep both nights. Not to forget breakfast, just wow. Fresh local produce, cooked and presented to perfection No need to worry about parking, Martin gave us a free parking pass for the duration of our stay to park in any of the bays on the surrounding roads. We parked approx 50m away and never moved the car all weekend as its only a 2-3 walk into town. Highly recommended Mister Chips for fish & Chips and Harry's bar for a few drinks. These were recommended by Martin and Vanessa and we could see why. Can't recommend this B&B enough, we are looking forward to returning soon Rob & Catherine

Had a wonderful stay at Rosslyn House Whitby ,it has a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Parking facilities were very well organised ,we were issued fully paid parking permits by Martin so we could park right outside . The Room facilities were excellent everything that you require for your stay with little added extras, even had cake for us both in our room which was a lovely touch. The Breakfast was absolutely superb , all produce sourced locally and most importantly all was cooked excellently by Vanesssa 👍👍 and Martin’s waiter skills were also excellent 👍👍 Martin and Venessa were fantastic hosts nothing was too much trouble for them. I would definitely stay again and would recommend it to anyone Thankyou both again for a brilliant stay Kevin and Jane

Another excellent stay. Perfect hosts, welcoming and friendly. Super breakfasts, excellent quality and choice. Rosslyn is extremely clean and comfortable. A nice, quiet road with safe parking. Within easy reach of town centre and restaurants. Thank you again Martin and Vanessa, we look forward to our next visit. D & I.

Great location. Very smart B&B. Beautifully decorated and spotless . Friendly informative hosts. Excellent breakfast options. What’s not to like? We had a good look at the very positive reviews before we booked. Having been to Rosslyn we can vouch for them being deserved.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4-night stay at Rosslyn House. We received a warm welcome from Martin on arrival. We opted for the SuperKing bed room on the second floor. It was very comfortable with extras (carrot cake on arrival, daily fresh milk in the room fridge, coffee machine with pods + biscuits) which elevated this B&B to 5 stars. . The whole property is very well-presented throughout and Vanessa's excellent daily breakfast options are served in the bright front dining room. It is in a quiet location a short downhill stroll into town. One of the very best B&B's we've stayed in.
