A terrible experience. And no, the beds were fine. But the police being called every night, there was a dead guy in his room for 2 days down the hall for me before they even knew he was dead. I had a crazy lady calling the police on people because they were smoking in the smoking section. The cleaning crew was okay but definitely understaffed The way they handled the issue of people staying there on vouchers, seemed to take precedence over paying customers. Watch out! This place has turned into section 8 it's not a hotel anymore Corporate better step in because I would never spend another dime there

Good Location close to community airport, restaurants , and recreational activities. Close to recreational parks . Close to Colleges and high school locations in the surrounding area. Closer to Chicago and Kenosha

Arrived to hotel due to working in nearby area, reserved the bedroom suite. Juana called to advise of issues with leak in room and therefore they’ll accommodate two “studio suites” which really is just a hotel room w/kitchenette. This gave me a sense of welcoming and great customer service. Except that when I arrived & signed off agreement to no smoking in rooms or subject to a fee of $250 dls- as I arrived to my room the strong scent/fumes of cigar smoke in our room was intense. I notified Juana - specifically to make her aware and not be held responsible for the scent. She was busy scolding a male housekeep on the floor, and just dismissed me with an okay. The first night the room next door had loud music & cigarette fumes- we know this b/c the vents in RR are connected. The intensity caused severe migraines & nausea to our family. We decided to just pass open the window & wait to be acomodares in a different room the next day as we agreed upon our checkin - wait for 1 BDRM suite to be available. The moment we move in to the rm the following morning, this is how it was turned into us. According to Juana, housekeeping had done completed & it was ready. Keep in my mind the price is “economic” & somehow I understand staffing issues, I understand “you get what you pay for” BUT as a paying customer I don’t expect luxury but I expect HYGIENE!!! Especially with everything happening in health concerns. I made Juana aware and was very rudely replied “ it’s the only room available, and cleaning has been done but I’ll go there to check.” Keep in mind this was a Sunday at noon, the room didn’t have a shower curtain either. The housekeeper arrived and just vaguely vacuumed & placed the curtain for the shower & left. Juana didn’t step in to view or f/up afterwards & truthfully b/c we are in great need of staying & have no other option at this moment we decided to not make this stay anymore unpleasant by creating conflicts. We did however rush to a dollar store nearby to purchase cleaning & sanitizing supplies. All this being said, we suggest you only stay if your current situation/need is far greater. Laundry machines are $2.25 ea & of 5 machines to wash - only2 were in working order. Breakfast to go is just a little bag with bars. Halls, doors, window screens & building in general is very poorly maintained- carpets severely stained and not vacuumed, door handles are broken & risk of cutting your hand due to the sharp edges from the broken handle, window screens removed from windows or torn - be highly cautious in case you have children to prevent any falls. Message to smoking guests: I don’t understand the disregard for rules clearly stated to you at check for Non Smoking building, you are clearly exposing others health due to your selfishness instead of stepping out to the designated area. There’s no need for kids to have direct exposure to your cigarette fumes. Housekeeping/personnel: I highly understand the staffing shortage occurring nationwide, &

All around bad experience. Uncomfortable bed super loud. Terrible for families. Do not stay here unless necessary. Our room was dirty and the staff was not very nice. Planes constantly flying overhead with an uncomfortable bed meant horrible sleep. Also my kids are extra cranky because I got up early and went downstairs for coffee. But having no public restrooms meant I had to wake them up by going back to my room. Basically they got all the little things wrong. And some of the big stuff too. Would not recommend. It was a bad time.

Helpful and professional staff. Hospitable and answer any questions or concerns. A place like home and welcoming staff. Close to good restaurants and Botanical Gardens, and Beautiful Recreational Parks.

I have a child with Autism and called many properties to find a hotel with adjoining rooms. I called on Thursday and was told that such rooms were available and if I booked they would GUARANTEE them when I arrived. Coming from over 409 miles away by car, I find out after PAYING for the rooms and checking-in, I find the rooms were not adjoined once inside. I called the the front desk and was told they weren’t sure which rooms were adjoined and to speak with another team member after 7 am. I call back at 8:30 am and informed by a very rude team member that there was no housekeeping staff and therefore can’t have the adjoining room. They also mentioned that the other set of adjoining rooms was “out of order”, whatever that means. After explaining the reason why I made a booking in the first place for my Autistic son, they simply DID NOT CARE. The team member flat out told me that they can’t give me a dirty room. I called customer service and they also let me know that the front desk staff was rude and unhelpful. Choice Hotels customer service did leave a message to the hotel manager about processing a refund and requested that I check with them front desk when I leave as I felt I was wrong for them to switch and bait me that way. When leaving with my finally with me, the front desk team just kept lying and making excuses and would not process a refund. I have never felt so humiliated by such an experience and can’t believe how low the management can go by charging people for rooms they DON’T want. The final piece was when the team member denied that housekeeping wasn’t available which would have SOLVED the problem in the first place. Now I’m out of pocket and had to pay MORE at a hotel that was further away because the management (which actually denied my refund by informing me with their RUDE team member instead). DO NOT BOOK HERE. They are unwelcoming of anyone with children having disabilities and flat out rob you by passing the buck to someone else when they can’t explain their own fragile lies.

Pretty bare-bones but safe and easy access to the highway. Hotel is older but it has been updated some. The staff was friendly and helpful. There were some mold stains in the bathroom on the walls and things were just not tiptop. Also had problems with the sink in the bathroom not draining properly.
