Upper Rideau Bed & Breakfast

We have stayed at a LOT of B and B’s in our travels, and Upper Rideau Bed and Breakfast has to be close to the top of our list. Everything a guest could ask for, from the sparkling clean rooms to the beautifully kept grounds, the incredible array of delicious breakfasts to the absolutely lovely personalities of our hosts, you simply cannot go wrong staying here! Truly, Donna and Keith go out of their way to ensure your stay is second to none. We received a warm welcome at the door, a tour of their home, and even a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie. Donna is an excellent baker and offered up an assortment of freshly made baked goods available throughout the day, along with coffee/tea, waters and sodas from a mini fridge in the guest area. Keith easily rivals the best breakfast chef you could possibly imagine. The food was plentiful and delicious. Both Keith and Donna welcomed us into their home and made us feel like their special guests. On our first morning at UR we dined with two other couples and every plate was beautifully presented, and hot! The coffee was delicious, and we even left with a small “thank you” gift from our hosts. We can’t wait to be in the area again and make a reservation for our second stay. It certainly won’t be our last!
