The Inn West End

Great hidden gem!. When I pulled up, I found my self questioning my choice.......I was pleasantly surprised! Room was spacious, clean, with attention to detail. and quiet! The beer garden was just outside, yet could barely hear a thing despite how crowded and busy it was. The food and service at the pub was superb. I must admit, I am used to American potions, and the size of the portions surprised me. I could not finish!! I booked one night, wish I had booked several days and used the location to do day travels to the rest of London, Windsor, etc.

 The Inn at West End 42 Guildford Rd, West End, Woking GU24 9PW Pub Ben Lawn 17045 points   16 hours ago Came in for a Sunday roast. It's not cheap, at £20 for roast beef. We both ordered extra Yorkshire pudding and potatoes, as this is an option on the menu. This turned out to be a quite remarkable palaver when it came to our food arriving. The staff were extremely nice, but presumably inexperienced. The beef was lovely. The vegetables were pleasant, especially the red cabbage. However, the potatoes really lacked fluffy crispness, instead being hard and chewy. The cauliflower cheese was tasteless and undercooked. The Yorkshires were too dry for the limited amount of gravy provided. The setting is pleasant, as are the staff. But the food was distinctly underwhelming, and the service was confused. I'd certainly recommend looking elsewhere for a Sunday roast

Had a fantastic experience staying at The Inn West End. Rooms are gorgeous, beautifully decorated and clean with lots of character. Every possible amenity is provided - tea, coffee, chocolate, biscuits, waters, fluffy pillows, fluffy towels, soaps, shampoo, conditioner and bath hats. Every room has a tea kettle, iron with ironing board and room fan. If anything else is needed the hotel are more than happy to provide it. One special feature is that all the rooms have TV streaming services like Netflix, Prime, Disney. As regards staff service is impeccable with lovely warm characters providing it. I am thinking of Karina, Denise, Katherine, Holly, Aidan, and cleaning staff Elaine, Mariam and Francesca. Plus all the others on staff who make this hotel so hospitable and friendly for guests. One special incident I would like to mention is, when returning from Yvonne Arnaud Theatre in a taxi late in the evening, I left my iPhone in the taxi. Aidan, Lifa and Holly jumped to the rescue and called the taxi driver bringing him back to the West End Inn to return my phone. Incredible service! Also, I cannot say enough about the pub atmosphere and tremendous food and drink. The menu has something for everyone and serves till quite late making it very convenient for customers. My husband says the breakfast is the best he has tasted. I don’t usually eat breakfast but love the lattes here. The bar and restaurant have a lovely terrace and garden area which is perfect for families and couples. In a word, this hotel with its restaurant and bar surpasses nearly all we have ever visited. It is also very centrally located being right off M3 and close to all connections. Attractive and historical areas like Windsor, Virginia Water and Runnymede are also in the very city. The prices are also extraordinarily reasonable. Do try to stay here if you can or at least stop by to have food and drinks.

Excellent inn. Stayed for one night lovely pub and the rooms are exceptional. Lovely and clean comfy bed shower lovely. Tea coffee milk provided with two bottles of water. Shower toiletries provided . We had breakfast included in our price and this was lovely freshly cooked. Staff were friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our night stay. Great that you can park your car as well. We will definitely return if we are in the area and will recommend

I wish there was more Baron inns , a pub with accommodation in super type cottage rooms around a patio & car park . Stopped in the first room off the car park , called xxxxx, everything u need was provided ,great wet room , comfortable bed , good WiFi , parking outside , good breakfast, served by attentive & friendly staff , Can’t comment on the evenings meals as I had a meal with friends @ their home , but they looked good , and the restaurant was very , very busy . Third visit , not the last , thank u to all the team

Tried to cancel 36 hours before arrival when I was rushed into local A&E with suspected burst ulcer. Was told no refund as had to give 48 hours notice in writing. Terrible customer awareness and service. Checking their website twenty-four hours later I find all rooms are still fully booked!

Very clean, spacious room and bathroom with little extras we appreciated, such as a box of tissues, hot chocolate and biscuits in addition to the usual tea things, and pad and pen (which we don't always find these days in other places). Very quiet at night (although we stayed on a Sunday night!). We had the full vegan breakfast, which was very good (nice sausages that weren't too spicy, like many others I've tried) and generous portions. Would definitely stay again.

The experience at this hotel staying as a guest is first rate. As a customer you are treated as special from the moment of arriving to departure. The rooms are excellent - so well appointed and comfortable and clean with every convenience possible. I have a special shout out for the cleaning staff who went to great lengths to provide little extras - towels and pillows with extra biscuits. There isn’t a better place to stay in the UK. One incredible new touch since my last visit is that all the rooms are fitted with new wide-screen TVs. One is able to stream all the major channels like Prime and Netflix alongside regular channels like BBC. I was able to get straight into my US accounts for these services by scanning a QR code on the TV screen. Perfection! It did mean that I was staying up late watching my favorite movies such as Equalizer and Gladiator. Luckily the cleaning staff did not mind coming to my room a bit later the next day. In the bar and restaurant, the Inn serves delicious food in a family atmosphere. I got chatting every night to couples and families out with their children and dogs. My family and friends were able to visit - the Inn is so accessible from the M3 and just 30 minutes from the Heathrow airport. Around the hotel are beautiful woods and moors with many great walks that can by seen on the AllTrails app. Look up the Inn West End Circular walk on AllTrails. Groceries and Marks & Spencer foods are available 5 minutes walk away and, next door to the Inn, a family run laundry wash and fold service with ironing if need. Ideal for longer stays. Looking forward to returning to the Inn West End very soon!

We had a great overnight stay at the Inn West End. Such a warm welcome from the staff and a great room that was warm, cosy and was well designed in terms of facilities. After a great night sleep and a lovely shower. We had a fabulous breakfast. Thank you Inn West End. You were amazing
