Weligama Bay Marriott Resort & Spa anmeldelser

Weligama is a hidden treasure and the Marriott is its most valuable gem. Wonderful place with the best waves for surfers (beginners/ intermediate level), clean waters and beach. In the hotel, the swimming pool area is outstanding. They offer morning meditation and yoga sessions that you can join. Plenary if options for the breakfast, awesome spa and a good enough gym. The view from your room balcony is top!

Amazing location great place to try out surfing for the first time!

It was a beautiful stay. Best location for chill you can do surfing also.

The hotel is located on Weiligmer Beach, where many people come to surf. As there are also many guests staying, it seriously affects the quality of service. The room facilities are old and not recommended

Really great service with personal butler. Was not there with kids but could tell that the kids club had plenty of fun activities which I was unfortunately unable to participate in (such as henna painting). Food at Weligama kitchen - breakfast and alacarte dinner was impressive!

We had a fantastic stay at the Marriott and extended for two days as it was too difficult to leave the place;) the service is over the top, great amenities with a great pool and even better beach. The in-house catering offers a really good sushi place but we appreciated the little food area next to the hotel as well. All in all the best spot to relax but also do great activities such as surfing and turtle swimming. The only negative thing if I have to name one is the kids club: it is really not a nice place (and smelled). No wonder there are hardly no children there and mine didn’t want to stay there either. But we came for the pool anyways …

All was Perfect but a bit overpriced

The hotel was situated between two larger towns (Mirissa and Galle) which made a little inconvenient but was nice and quiet with more or less the entire beach to oneself. Service was top notch, as expected with any Marriott Hotels I have stayed previously. Visited the cafe for buffet and the bar for drinks, again nothing to complain about and only praises. Will for sure stayed there again if the opportunity arises, definitely worth recommending! Photo is view out of the room’s spacious balcony!

Regarding our stay at Marriott Weligama. We enjoyed our stay due to few great “pluses”: - perfect view with giant window in room; - kids club works almost all day long, giving parents free time for ourselves; + professional stuff in club. we stayed two weeks in hotel and our favourite and beloved by kid - Bhagya - always met kid with smile, tried her best to interact kid in the most active way (despite some ladies, who found easier to switch on tv and cartoons), she easily found same language with my kid, although kid doesn’t know English at all. What I like most: Bhagya gave feedback on my kid’s activities in club every time. - swimming pool worked till 10pm, which is really cool. What we find could be improved: - evening activities; - more variety at breakfast - please change dishes at least 1-2 times in a week; - coffee beans at breakfast… too burnt taste.

Beautiful hotel, warm and welcoming staff. We were greeted with a welcome dance and drink. The hotel is right on the sea with smaller waves, perfect for swimming or learning to surf. Our plan was to only stay for a few days but we enjoyed the hotel so much we extended our room for 4 more days. The breakfast and dinner buffet has a good mix of Western food, Asian cuisine and traditional Sri Lankan food. I highly recommend this hotel and the area around the hotel has a great vibe.

Service was wonderful, lovely beach location. Pool a bit cramped when busy.

酒店雖然設施不算新 但是地理環境十分優越 下樓就是美麗的沙灘 酒店的食物都挺美味 有個小建議 客人使用後的浴袍 牙刷 拖鞋等一次性用品 應及時去更換 不能一直給顧客延續使用 希望客房部可以改進這一點
