Mix Brussels --Gym & Wellness for Adults Only--

We had a great family stay at Mix. The 50 suite is great to acomodate two adults ad two infants, early check in and check out were respected, breakfast was amazing. Only regrets is not having "Family" hours at the pool so we could go together. We knew about the policy when we booked so it was not a surprise but it could be an improvement.

The room are very pretty, but you can tell the quality is mediocre. The staff is kind but don't give you all the information needed when checking in. We didn't know we hadn't access to the gym & wellness on the day of the check-out and we arrived at 20h the day before so a total waste, which ruined our whole stay. Very disappointed, nothing they could do. Overrated.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience. The food was the cherry on top, the bed was very comfortable, and the facilities were excellent. The only area for improvement would be the reception – they were often difficult to reach, and their level of English could be better.

- breakfast was the same every day and much reduced from one day to the next - there were power fluctuations that affected my phone charger (Wednesday - Thursday) - I left my towel and clothes on the sunbed and after 10 minutes when I came out of the jacuzzi two - other people put my personal belongings aside and sat down there is no designated smoking area in the pool area - the water in the indoor pool is not 28 degrees as it should be, at most 22. the SPA manager could not check the water temperature because they did not even have a thermometer (for a 4-star hotel) - a 200 euro guarantee is stopped, but I don't know the purpose of it. as long as there is no one to hand over the room to you how can you prove that the service staff didn't do something contradictory - the system for requesting or cancelling room cleaning is not explained - for fast food like food the prices are very high - There were problems with the sensors for two days but we were not informed and we could not leave the room - The indoor pool is used by both tourists and staff who take swimming courses at the same time and the restrictions on the 4 pools are not enforced. - there is no bar in the indoor pool area, and the taste of the fruit water...leaves much to be desired - There is no ventilation or window that can be opened in the rooms and the toilet is next to the kitchen...I haven't really seen anything like that...

Staying here, room is good. People are… well ok. Bar staff said kitchen is closed, no cannot serve food. Ah ok, can I get food in the room? Not sure they said. Ah ok. Food arrives at the bar for someone sitting next to me, I ask why do they get food and I cannot order? Answer - they work here sir. This is their food at the end of their shift.

Noisy room, impossible to sleep with the noise of music and bass. We had to leave the hotel during the night after informing the receptionist about the issue, waiting for 1 hour trying to sleep, and noticing that no solution was offered. Very disappointed. Asked for a refund afterwards of at least the breakfast and late check out that we did not have, but this was refused by the management of the hotel.
