Lovely relaxing stay, we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. Rooms are clean, grounds are well maintained and the pool is clean and inviting. There's a bunch of nice restaurants only 10 minutes drive away. The property managers were great too.

We have just returned from a 6 day break where we stayed at Plume Villas, a hour north of Auckland. The accommodation was perfect for us, it was private, well appointed and just what we wanted. The staff were helpful and respectful to the extent we hardly noticed them as they went about their business. The co-located restaurant also known as Plume, was a genuine find with some of the best food and wine we have encountered in ages. We dined at the restaurant at every opportunity (they were closed one night!) and managed to work our way through every course on the menu, from the 7 course degustation with matching wine to complimentary after dinner wines on a couple of occasions. The staff at the restaurant were knowledgeable, friendly and very obliging when dealing with our every request - Melanie was a standout !. The Chef engaged with us at every opportunity which was an added bonus... This place is a real treat... It is 5 stars all round from us...
