Amazing rooms with huge bathroom. Great views. Good food. Helpful proprietor who aims to please. With @worldride and @ridebhutan. Just above the Male River at the end of one of the best mountain bike descents in the country. We are loving it!

Excellent food, attentive service, beautiful setting. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. They do all the little things really well. The ginger lemon honey tea is the best in Bhutan. They accommodate mountain bikers well - plenty of food, bike wash. You can ride right to the hotel from the trails

The hotel is difficult to get to. The road leading to it is not in a good shape at all. It is away from any marketplace or restaurant. So if you are looking to stay in a place with activities next door , restaurants close by etc then this isn't the place. It is away from the hustle bustle. Has a rustic atmosphere like the name suggests. The food was prepared in house with vegetables grown in their premises. The hotel staff are very nice and took good care of us.

A very peaceful and welcoming stay. The manager was extremely helpful and accommodating. Food was fantastic and locally grown. Rooms were spacious with a beautiful view overlooking the fortress. Would have loved to stay longer. Thank you!

An amazing reward was waiting at the end of the winding journey here. Tranquil accommodation, scrumptious locally grown food and the friendliest family made me feel at home immediately. The view of the fortress is stunning and sitting on the balcony of my room is so peaceful.

Facility with rustic beauty offering great views of Wangdue fortress and feel of a country estate. Warm hospitality, lavish sized room and bathroom alongwith great food made the stay enjoyable. Owner's perspective on local history and culture made the visit unique. Breakfast could have been better in terms of variety and portions.

Wangdue EcoLodge is a place with an outstanding view. One thinks we are in Shangri La! Reaching there, the last 15 mins are on a rough road but once there, it's some place! Mountains all around you, a river down there, an old settlement of people from Cooch-Behar in India within reach..... Otherwise you are one with nature, nobody disturbing you Spacious room with a spaaacious bathroom. Food is literally home-cooked by the caretakers' family from veggies (and fruits) out of their own kitchen-garden Breakfast is simple,,,, could have a bit more to offer.... as a result one does not pig it out like in a buffet in a luxury hotel I am glad we stayed here!

Kezang is resort manager and is SO intent on taking care of his guests! This resort is set very privately on a hill overlooking the river. It is peaceful and the gardens on the property are organic and supply all the veggies for the meals. The rooms are spacious and very clean and the bathrooms are huge with great showers and plenty of towels. Food is all hand prepared in Bhutanese style and very plentiful and tasty. This is a family run resort that is simple but rich in Bhutanese hospitality. Would definitely recommend to any traveler who is seeking Bhutanese cuisine in a beautiful and peaceful setting. Beds are very comfortable. Thank you Kezang !!

Beautiful ecolodge with spacious room and huge bathroom! Waking up to an amazing view in the morning! Cats and dogs are free roaming which makes it even more homey! Only wished for better lighting in the room and a less bumpy road to the hotel!
