Coalmine Beach Holiday Park

We booked the wrong stay, was supposed to be a glamping one. However, FRESH AIR, TRANQUILITY AND AMAZING VIBES AT WALPOLE

We really enjoyed the natural bush, the tent was very well equipped, warm, comfortable, nice space and the camp kitchen was also well equipped for the cooking.

Our fourth time here and as good as before. This is little oasis amongst the peppy trees. Great for caravans, camper trailers, tents or try the cabins and clamping. A safe spot to let the kids run around and have fun in the playground or on their bikes- so drivers, please slow down and look out for them as well as avoiding kicking up dust. Facilities are good, the ablutions clean and the staff friendly. The beach is right there for swimming, kayaking or paddle boarding. I'm sure we'll be back.

If you think this is camping ..you are so wrong .. these tents are next level.. the beds the pillows the ensuite are amazing. I only live 1hr away and choose this option when I can fish this amazing inlet 🫡 So close to all town amenities and all local attractions

I’ll start out with positives - great location, quiet in a bush setting, right on the shoreline with a lovely walking trail included. We had clean sheets on the bed, so that was a positive too. The rest of the accommodation though, not so good. We stayed in a cabin that was very dated and a bit the worse for all the wear it would have been through. I would say the owners have done their best to clean the cabin but it’s so old the dirt eventually works it’s was into corners and hard to reach spots. The bathroom was very cramped and the shower head needs replacing. I couldn’t recommend the cabin we stayed in.

Lovely campsite set amongst small trees. Very close to beach. Clean amenities and friendly staff. Good camp kitchen and recreation room facilities. Excellent base for exploring surrounding National Parks, including Tree Top Walk. Quiet overnight. Take your insect repellent!
