What a beautiful camp ground right on the beach. Very clean and wonderful facilities. Lots of amusements for the kids too. The bike trail starts at the campground, which goes to Waipu. The Cove Restaurant is also handy for a wonderful meal. ( you need to book)

We were on a powered site that backed into the sand dunes with almost private access to the beach. Facilities were all clean and modern and the camp is huge so heaps of too. Highly recommend this camp, oh and the sunrise was worth getting out of bed for.

Once again the Management and staff of Camp Waipu Cove delivered for us a totally magical holiday!. We were met with our usual SUPA- warm welcome by the girls at reception and quickly settled in, immediately experiencing all the load of city-living, shedding off of our shoulders! .NOTHING--is too much trouble for this wonderful management and their staff!. To Antonn, Lisa, Matthew, and all the wonderful staff at the Camp---Gemma, Victoria, Sophia, another Lisa(?) (If I've forgotten any names I should've remembered here!--please forgive me!). The weather was glorious, the surf excellent and each day a blissful repetition of the one before it!. Pace of life there?- 0-3kph.! The cleaning staff, you're amazing too! ( and we Loved your music playlist girls!! :-) .As a former 17 year long Annual site holder--I don't need convincing that it's practically an expectation !! that you'll win NZ's top beach next year too!!--GO FOR IT!.--THANK YOU ALL. We'll see you next Summer--(IF NOT BEFORE!! :-). Grateful Thanks, Mark and Luba.

A lovely camp which we have stayed at before.Large sites ,close to the beach.Very clean.We were there at the same time as over 100 kids on a camp and we hardly saw them and the facilities were not crowded.Close to a diary,restaurant / cafe.Highly recommend

It's probably one of the best camps in New Zealand if you consider the location, facilities, communication, and value. We love coming here and it's never disappointing. Thanks for running it so well! When we stay at other camp sites, we can only wish they could be managed at your standards. Keep up doing a great work!

Waipu cove camp ground is the G.O.A.T. (Greatised of All Time) Great camp, very impressed, loved our stay. We will definately be back Regarding your WiFi, better than most. Nice facilites, clean and well serviced, plenty of room, great sized site Call Starlink

Great camp for families and couples. Next to beach and across the road from the very popular Waipu Cove Cafe. This cafe always has a tempting menu and food it of a high standard. The camp is well maintained and facilities are clean. Excellent sites of a good size for tents, caravans and our motorhome. Will definitely be back!
