AmeriVu Inn and Suites - Waconia

I’m not sure I can say anything positive about this hotel. The room was just plan dirty. There were cobwebs in the corners, stains on the sheets 🥴. I went to use the iron and the whole bottom of it was brown and crusty. NASTY! Good thing I noticed it before trying to iron my pants. I took it to the front desk and he gave me a new one. I guess that is my positive but I should have never had to do that in the first place. Family members also stayed at this hotel and their room smelled like Mold. Bring your own towels because you will not want to use theirs.

Terrible - stained, thin and gray/white towels (see picture of wash cloth that I DID NOT use!), dirty and stained carpet (food crumbs on the carpet-yuck), stained bed covering. My mom was in another room and her toilet was not working - contacted maid service and was told they have no maintenance on the weekend. Breakfast was terrible! Toaster not working properly! My sister's room smelled bad - like mold! Front desk person was rude on the phone when I called prior to make sure late check-in was okay. And.... our air conditioner clanked all night so not a good night's sleep. We wished we would have driven home from the wedding we went to and just got in late rather than spend $194 for this room! If they would so some serious maintenance, deep clean and replace towels and bed coverings, that would be a good start!

There nothing good about this hotel expect the beds . Staff don’t care and feel inconvenience Breakfast is very low quality . Coffee weak as was the orange . At 9.30 the coffee was gone and no one cared about filling it. They are allow one chair in the room and that was a wooden desk We go there because we have family in the area . We have gone there on previous visit And it was a decent hotel . We will not go there again

Fox News channel purposely blocked. Seriously ? Seems a little suspicious that Fox News is the only channel that I could not watch. I was wondering if it was only my room but when I went to lobby TV and tried it was blocked there as well. And what news organization channel do you think was on?… MSNBC… nuff said

The good: the beds were comfortable and atmosphere was quiet for a decent night's sleep. The not-as-good: the guest towels look like they should be used by the housekeeping staff for cleaning. They are extremely thin, borderline threadbare, and felt like sandpaper. The not good at all: breakfast (or lack thereof) was ridiculous! They have a great set up to be able to serve a good breakfast, but the only things available were cold potatoes (at one point there had been eggs in the server, but they never replenished them), yogurt, a few muffins, and cold cereal. There was no coffee, the orange juice came out as water, the waffle irons were on, but there was no batter to put in them to make a waffle. When I went to the unstaffed front desk, they have a phone sitting there instructing you to dial zero for assistance. When you do that, they answer "front desk". Ummm...you're literally standing at the front desk and there's nobody there! Anyway, I said that the breakfast buffet needed attention/assistance. They said they would send someone, but they never did. Waconia is a beautiful growing city that we enjoy visiting because we have family there. It's really too bad there aren't nicer places to stay in town. I highly recommend staying in a nearby town if there is a more well known hotel available. This was the 2nd time we have stayed here. The first time wasn't anything to write home about, either, but at least they actually had breakfast. You could, at least, have a cup of coffee and my kids were able to have waffles that they love making at hotels when they have them.

No services was given and there was nobody at front desk to give us the key for our room next day I come back , they didn’t care about business

We have stayed at this hotel numerous times for work. This was the BEST stay yet!! We had an issue with our first room, and Heather was absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond to make us happy!! She is definitely a good addition to your staff! Keep her! Sooooo much better than the staff working during our last visit!, thanks to her :)!! Thank you Heather!!

Room was OK but lacked any kind of amenities. Had 3 bath towels for a family of 4. I asked the housekeeper making up the room next door for a towel and she told me her towels were for clean rooms. Told me to go downstairs to the front desk. Husband went to front desk and was told they did not have any and he would have to find a housekeeper. Ugg! He went back to housekeeper next door who reluctantly gave him one. We stayed here under a group wedding rate. Supposedly we received a discount, but after looking at the weekend prices the following week. We paid about twice as much as one would normally pay. One night cost $273 when I went to pay. We were charged extra for a rollaway bed that I was told was in the room. It wasn’t. When I was brought the bed, it came with one fitted sheet. I asked for a blanket, pillow, top sheet and mattress pad and the guy looked at me and said, Oh, I didn’t think about that. They had no extra pillows and I had to make the rollaway myself. I was also charged extra for an early check in. We checked in at 1:30pm. 1.5 hours before 3:00 posted time for check in. I have never heard of a hotel charging for early check in when you arrive and your room is ready. $35 charge. WoW! Just Wow! Terrible customer service!!!!

This hotel has gone down hill since the last time we stayed, a year ago. We came in at 9:00 at night this time. No one was at the front desk when we arrived until we called. After calling the young guy came from around corner, smelling of **** and appeared to be stoned. Whatever, moved onto our room. Got to our room. The sheets seemed like they hadn’t been changed, smelled of sweat and we found hairs in both beds. There were mildew stains on the pillow. The shower had clearly not been cleaned as there was hair in the shower and visible dirt on the shower curtain. The shower then did not drain. The floor of our room was also damp. The entire place has become very trashy. Very disappointing for a hotel in Waconia. Will not be staying next time we come
