Upon arrival at Domi Beach Valley immediate full payment for the entire stay was requested and I paid EUR 2600 with my credit card. Only one key card (door lock and main switch for electricity) was issued per bungalow with two, in one case even three people in. I realised immediately that it would be logistically difficult to handle the interests of each family member if cards had to be shared/handed over etc. I asked for a second key card for each bungalow, long discussions followed. I offered to pay extra for them. A man who was referred to as the boss (an Albanian who lives in Netherlands and had returned to make money in tourism) appeared and categorically refused. The reason: this could lead to climatization being kept on while people are out of the bungalow. When I did not accept that, he shouted that if we do not like it, the family could leave and he would repay the price. Literally he said "I will reimburse you". Within a few hours we found rooms in the nearby hotel Black Diamond (which turned out to be nice), vacated the bungalows and asked for repayment. The “boss” did not turn up, instead, an employee appeared and said that the "boss" had better things to do. He requested further payment for one night with a debit card but categorically refused to cancel the credit card payment. I refused to make a further payment. Back home, I undertook many attempts to recover the payment minus some EUR 500 for one night. Up to today nothing was repaid. Domi Beach kept EUR 2600 although the boss had offered to reimburse if we left and we had used the bungalows only for some 3 – 4 hours, not even one night.
