Room very small but clean. Shower hard to get into, abuts toilet and sink. If you need to iron there is only an iron and board out in the hallway which is odd. The breakfast was decent. Right by the ferry which is a plus. Front desk help friendly. There are signs asking you to consider not having your room cleaned daily. That’s one of the things I enjoy at a hotel: not having to make my bed, etc. so I requested having the room cleaned.

If you have a car, you must pay for parking ($26 for 3 days). It can be noisy if you face the main road. No shelf or counter space in bathroom. Breakfast offering are extensive, but it can be crowded and you must book a time slot the night before. Lots of electric outlets in room. Walking distance to Old Visby. Helpful staff. Close to ferry.

Lovely views, great staff, nice food and clean. It was a pleasant surprise to find such a nice place in the middle of the tourist season in Visby.

This is our second stay at Scandic Visby. Last time was perfect. Nice and big room with balcony and view. This time we got a smaller room (same room category), with smaller balcony and no view, because of a big tree in front of it. The room was okay, but it was not properly cleaned. The windows were really dirty. The bed was super comfortable. However, the ventilation was bad, we had to sleep with balcony door open, and the street is extremely noisy all night. Sometimes there was also an intense and awful sewage smell all over the hotel, both outside and inside. The room didn’t get cleaned during our stay, which was okay, but when we asked for toilet paper refill, the cleaning lady seemed almost bothered. Some of the staff were friendly and smiling, while others were the opposite. We would still choose Scandic Visby over again, because of its location, the excellent breakfast and the nice pool.

We spent 5 nights at Scandic Visby, located close to town centre. The pleasant surprise was that our electric car could be charged at site, just outside our room.

My stay at Scandic Visby was exellent, well trained staff with professionalism, good location in the beautiful city of Visby, close to the center, easy accessable, by all means of transportation, wounderful breakfast.

Very happy with everything as usual, perfect spot if you’re travelling with family, playground next to the restaurant and the pool is never too busy. Staff are amazing, always super helpful and sweet !
