We stayed there in May of 2023. TERRIBLE ! One bad experience after the other. Let me start by saying that it has been one of the most expensive hotels i've ever stayed in Mexico ($650 a night). To put things in perspective, i visit Los Cabos at least 2-3 times a year and i've stayed in very high-end resorts there and other places in the country. That being said, let me get started... When we checked-in they insisted to CHARGE (not hold) about $3,000 usd to my Credit Card for incidentals. If not needed they would "be reimbursed to my CC 20-30 business days later"!!!!! I went to the restroom and to my surprise there's no water to wash my hands, i asked to enter the ladies restroom and was told to try the one at the spa. No luck. After i insisted they finally let me go into the ladies room just to find out there was no water there either. So finally they decided to provide me with a bucket of water to wash my hands. That's not what you would expect from a $650-a-night "hotel" but i figure it was just an unlucky moment. Our room was not ready at the time of check-in so we went to the restaurant to eat something, then got change in the bathroom and headed to the pool. The beach of the hotel has a red flag most of the year (if not all year) so you can't risk getting into the Ocean... too rough and dangerous. At the pool we found out there's only one bartender and ONE server attending the tables at the restaurant, the lounge chairs at the pool and the lounge chairs at the beach. So we had to wait between 40 minutes and 1 hour every time we needed to order anything from them. Same time frame to wait for him to bring the order. Temperatures fluctuated between 90-100 so all cocktails and iced drinks arrived melted down and diluted. After the first couple of attempts to drink something we just opted to order a bottle of Mezcal so we didn't have to be ordering individual drinks and wait so long for them. Finally the room was ready... the AC was NOT WORKING!!! I called the Front Desk to say that was unacceptable and they claim both, the water in the bathroom and the AC were due to a loss of power from the night before so their emergency generator only provided power for the basic needs. Again, not what you would expect from a $650-a-night. They never fixed the AC and the temperature was unbearable so they ended up sending cooling towers to the room, which made it as noisy as you can imagine. Both the noise and the heat made it very difficult to enjoy a good night sleep. The room has hand-made wooden sliding doors that don't shut completely so we had a few lizards, spiders and other insects inside the room. Based on our experience, if the room was $50 a night, i would still not go back to that place.
