Vilanculos Beach Lodge

A charming team who cannot do enough for you in all regards. Varied menu and every meal a tasty delight, freshly cooked and well presented. The beach setting is beautiful with gorgeous sun rises, and night skies filled with thousands of twinkling stars. The morning strolls to breakfast take you through a magical butterfly garden, colouful flapping wings weaving over and on the flowers and shrubs as we pass. After 4 years of visiting the standards have not dropped in any respect and all facilities remain well maintained and fresh. We travel with our very old parents (late 80's /90's), who look forward to their visit each and every year. We visited for 5 days at end of February. As always the lodge, facilities, gardens, staff all spotless and beyond reproach. Thank you for always going the extra mile, personal attention and smiles abound. We will be back in June for the next re-charge! Love Neels & Chantel

Our family stay at the lodge was truly amazing! The staff was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and always went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience. The service was impeccable, and we felt so welcomed throughout our visit. Although we had some windy days, the beauty and tranquility of the lodge made up for it completely. It was an unforgettable experience, and we created some wonderful memories. We absolutely loved it and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect getaway! 5/5

We absolutely loved our stay. The staff were so friendly, knowledgeble and accommodating. The layout of the bungalows were really well done, giving guests privacy without compromising distance. It was so refreshing eating delicious seafood everyday. Compliments to the chef, food was excellent. We can't wait to come back.

This was our second stay here.....and we loved this place just as much as the first time around. Stayed here for 5 nights. It is a really lovely place - comfortable rooms, fantastic setting right on the beach, delicious food and great service. Food was so good we stayed in every night and ate in their restaurant. During the day we walked down the beach and checked out a few of the other accommodation options and saw nowhere as nice as VBL.

Wonderful lodge, exceptional service. Highly recommend! Great for families with children and couples who wish to unwind. The restaurant has a generous selection of dishes including fresh seafood. A lush garden enfolds the property and is very well kept. This is by far the jewel of the Vilankulo coast.
