Vilamendhoo Island Resort & Spa anmeldelser

We stayed from 27th to 31sr Dec 2023. Really really disappointed hotel’s action and attitude. Experience at this hotel was good but last day( today) was the worst. Our meeting time today at lobby was 8:30 but sea plane departed and departed around 11:30 and we missed our 12:30 flight to go back to our country. I know the weather cannot be controlled but heard there was the guest whose flight was 11:45 and they could catch their flight. The hotel staff at airport said we were not in urgent customer’s list so we missed the flight. Really wonder why other guests could get their flight but we could not? Hotel should take care all guests. If you knew our flight was already closed, we wanted you to inform us before we leave your hotel. Then we can consider how we can do for this situation. Also there are no supports from your hotel. I will not recommend your hotel to anyone and get reluctant to stay again. We expected good hospitality but really we are disappointing now.

Nice island, amazing reef for snorkeling, acceptable food. They should improve night activities and excursions: local island is avoidable.

Отель очень понравился. Отличный домашний риф. Еду брали FB. Все осень вкусно. Красная рыба по утрам. (У AI свой ресторан. Туда очевидно не ходили) Обязательно тапочки коралки в печке в воде много кусочков кораллов практически везде. Обычную обувь много можно не брать. По острову вообще можно ходить босиком. Весь остров можно обойти минут за 30. Берите ласты и маску (или там можно арендовать за 15$ в сутки)

E' un resort molto curato e con diverse certificazioni di sostenibilità ambientale, molto tranquillo (non ci sono attività rumorose, a parte un po' di musica dopo cena nella zona bar). Punti di forza sono i servizi e la cura sia degli spazi comuni, sia delle camere, un ottimo ristorante che varia quotidianamente il menu con spunti "a tema". Sull'isola è presente un ottimo centro diving gestito professionalmente da Euro-divers, forse solamente un po' caro nei prezzi, soprattutto nei casi di pacchetti famiglia o altre combinazioni che prevedono un certo numero di immersioni. Il reef dell'isola presenta una buona varietà di coralli e pesce ed è facilmente accessibile da diversi punti.

非常棒的度假村，設施不能算很豪華，但是很周到，該有的也都有，水屋還有一個按摩浴缸🛁，讓人非常享受，風景一級棒，浮潛也能看見不少東西，平時度假村裡走走也能看見海邊的小鯊魚，在這個住宿價格上，是很完美的體驗。這裏國人很少，就上島第一天看到兩個，後面都沒有看到，基本都是歐洲的，拖家帶口來度假🏖️，員工都很nice，上島第一天有位中文小姐姐幫忙辦理入住，不過後麪幾天都沒有看到，還好憑着散裝英文也能玩的不錯。總之，如果預算有限，這家度假村絕對是最佳選擇，可以多呆幾天，風景和服務絕不打折，有機會還會再去！

姉と水上ヴィラに3泊しました。 昼間はエイやツマグロ、夜はイカが桟橋の下まで泳いできてくれます。 お客さんは欧米人が98%で、アジア人はほぼいません。 フルボードのビュッフェの夕食が毎日変わって美味しかったです。 朝食のグリルドサーモン、フルーツも最高でした。 お部屋のトイレが屋外でサンシェードもなく、用を足すたびに日傘が必要だったこと以外は素晴らしいリゾートです。

在V島的後兩晚預訂的帶按摩浴缸的水屋。水屋前面是面向瀉湖的陽台，後面是一台按摩浴缸，衞生間浴室很大很寬敞。陽台可以直接下海游泳。不過下次來的話會選沙屋，性價比高去餐廳和潛點近。

服務良好，餐廳食物味道正宗，浮潛確實不錯，就是島上房間爆滿，人多有點嘈雜。花園房私隱較差。

房間很好，飲食也還行，最好的是浮潛，太美了，珊瑚很漂亮攜程服務很不錯，認真負責，多次幫忙溝通，非常感謝🙏

很棒的酒店！住宿乾淨房間大，服務好，餐食多樣味道好！浮潛A級名不虛傳！

房間乾淨整潔，有空調，温度也舒適，衞生間獨特風格很美，食品豐富，各種風味，水果品種繁多，服務非常好，住房出門就是白沙灘，周圍就是浮潛聖地

Once we got through the usual chaos at Male Airport, including waiting over an hour for the luggage to come off the plane, things got better once on the seaplane to Vilamendhoo. On setting foot on the island we had a wonderful greeting by the staff and then received a personal briefing from guest services, followed by a brief tour of the facilities and taken to our villa. In summary, we had an absolute wonderful time on the island, all the staff are attentive, helpful, friendly and personable. Food at the buffet was varied and very tasty, the Asian Wok restaurant food was fabulous. The island is spotless, the facilities well maintained, our beach villa was clean, didn't look tired and had everything we needed. Always had towels inside our villa and by the pools and our sunbeds. House reef was just a stones throw away from the beach, with a multitude of different fish to observe whilst snorkelling. Almost everyday we saw Turtles, Moray eels, Sting Rays, Eagle Rays, Reef Sharks, also saw Lion fish. We did a full day excursion to see more turtles and also saw Manta Rays and Whale Sharks... a must do! A special mention to Zaidh our waiter, whom we laughed and told stories with, our holiday would not of been the same without him. We miss him already. I’m a music fan, and there’s no better way than Harry Belafonte’s “Island in the sun” to use describing how one can see and experience Vilamendhoo. Sure enough, people will find things to describe as negative, if you think the pathways around the restaurants are to hot , if you think the sand contains hard pieces…. But let’s be honest, that is picking on details you wouldn’t consider when you were at home on a sunny day, you would enjoy the sun. And Vilamendhoo adds a lot to the sun, to make your stay a party and a delight. Where can one start? Not our first visit to the Maldives, so a seaplane experience is not the biggest thing we had while arriving, but yet, going from the arrival hall to the seaplanes, with a splendid transfer to the island, we loved the smooth experience. Arriving on the island, with a delightful drink and friendly reception was welcome after the long journey, the room we got (water bungalow) was briljant, with a well used jacuzzi during our stay. Room cleaning and turn down service was great, minibar refills were always in time, more than sufficient water during our stay as well. Restaurants and bars, my goodness, where does one start? Always options, either enjoy the curry and rice, or enjoy the pasta/potato/vegie/meat during lunch and diner, while breakfast has a wide variety of options as well. Fresh juices, drinks served in time and always with a smile. Like we said, not the first visit to the Maldives, so we dare to compare. We have been at Veligandu and Fakarufalhi (Nova now), and we would rate Vilamendhoo as best price/quality option. The main reason for us to visit is marine life. And oh boy….. do you have some sea life circling the island. Seen sharks, turtles, 1.000 tropical fish, manta, eagle rays, muray eels. We enjoyed the island “ocean discovery” cruise, meaning we took a boat trip for a day, full service on board, ending with a dolphin guided sunset passage. Just very simple said, this island has given us what we bargained for. Absolute rest, piece, a splendid couples-time to refuel the engine and embrace beautiful memories. We will go back, which just shows what this review is worth, we just want to do it again… and again…..
