We was surprised about the good Restaurant in Front of the Hotel. The Room was ok for a Short trip because it‘s small and the wall is thin it’s not still quiet. The Location is grateful for City Trip.

Rel. new hotel with modern, clean yet very small rooms and tiny bathrooms with a sliding door only a few cm away from the bed (hence very little privacy).Hardly any space to place your suitcase. Ok for a short time for one person but really very very tight for 2. Big modern safety box. Some rooms have balcony. Unfortunately zero noise isolation nor towards other rooms neither to the noise from outside. Some rooms have connecting doors which is even worse - just two thin wooden doors hence you can hear your neighbour breath or whatrver remarkable other sounds they produce in their rooms and bathrooms. Many chinese tourists. No pool nor gym. Nice little rooftop with a few chairs, tables and 2 sunchairs but no bar there. Breakfast is a small buffet with some asian and basic western food. Very friendly staff. Centrally located with many restaurants and shops around and the night market and river in easy walking distance.

This hotel is great for budget travelers who want some comfort.

Nice clean room. The staff was amazing, friendly, and helpful. The location is great. The television channel has no signal.

Best location for street walking around with lots of restaurant, spa, shop, park and near river.

1. Room sound proofing is very bad. 2. Pillows are too soft. 3. The toilet bowl couldn't flush. I had to get help twice. The 2nd time, when I approached the staff at the lobby at night and informed him that the toilet bowl couldn't flush, he insinuated that I threw toilet paper into the toilet bowl even though I explained and assured him that I didn't throw anything in and beside, he hadn't seen the condition of the toilet bowl yet. All in all, a bad experience.

Location is good, but hotel smell very bad, I asked for cleaning the room for 2 type they not do. 

Nice place to stay in, very convenient with plenty of varieties of food within walking distance. Night market is just across the road too. Hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. Breakfast choices are good enough for this hotel.

The room is good. But the soundproof is really bad. Our room is in 5 floors and we heard everything from the elevator sound to the other room sounds. Good location clean. But once again yeah. Noise from outside can be heard.

A mere two-minute walk from the famous Vientiane night market, the hotel offered easy access to the city's bustling core. For those seeking iconic landmarks, the Hard Rock Cafe Vientiane was just a five-minute stroll away. This convenient location proved invaluable throughout my stay. The staff at the Riverside Hotel truly deserve a special mention. Their genuine friendliness and helpfulness were a constant source of warmth during my visit. The family-run atmosphere added a personal touch, making me feel welcome and cared for. I was particularly impressed when they accommodated my early check-in at 8.30am (arriving from Bangkok) without hesitation – a huge relief after a long travel day. Thank you again, Riverside Hotel! My room on the 6th floor offered a delightful surprise – a balcony with a view of the city. The room itself was clean, neat, and thoughtfully simple, perfectly suited to my needs. A personal highlight was the separate shower area in the bathroom – a detail that promotes hygiene and creates a more comfortable experience. While the breakfast selection wasn't vast, it was well-maintained and offered a decent variety. The fresh fruits were a particular delight, and I would love to see more vegetarian options added in the future – a minor suggestion for improvement. Housekeeping did a fantastic job, changing towels daily and keeping the room clean and tidy throughout my stay.

A wonderful boutique hotel close to the river. The hotel was tastefully rennovated not long ago and everything was very new. Location was good; it is close to the night food market along the river, and has a rooftop terrace for views. Along the sane street are several good french restaurants. The staff were very helpful and spoke English.
